I finally decided to get rid of all of my old games. Not for the money but simply because I haven't played them in years and most consoles aren't even hooked up and are boxed up. So here is the updated post. Since many bids are already in at the end of this post is the original message in spoilers.


Bidding Phase Rules:

- Bidding will take place in the entire month of March
- Bids are to be made by sending me a Private Message; This hides the bids from others to help avoid bidding wars and keeps the winning bids lower
- I will not discuss or reply to bids
- Don't ask me how much I want
- No bids will be accepted on or after April 1st
- Payments will be through Paypal
- I will ship the sold items after receiving payment
- What doesn't sell before April 1st will now be considered for trade

Trading Phase Rules:

- Trading Phase will take place from April 6th until April 20th
- Tades will be only discussed or considered after the bidding phase
- Items not sold in the bidding phase will all be considered for trade
- I may be open to accepting non-video game items in trade
- Trades are not limited to one for one
- Items remaining unclaimed beyond April 20th will be sold in lots on ebay based on what system they are for (all ps1 in one lot, all ps2 in one lot, and so on)

Most of them will be PS1 some will be other systems. I'll be selling the consoles too. I think I have three ps1 systems, one of which has the port to use a V-mem memory card, which I have. It is a 60 memory card device that is easy to use.

do you have many sony ps1 memory cards? id be interested in those as ups lost some when i moved.

I do have some and they will go up here. The box they are in hasn't been gone through yet. There are still a few more games to post and hardware to post but I won't be able to tonight and I doubt I will tomorrow. Since this is going to go on for over a month, there is no real rush though. I do hope to have everything I am parting with posted before March 1st.

here is a question i havent asked yet. how come you are getting rid of every game and hardware you own? are you in need of money? do you expect to never play these games again? im just a curious and nosy guy.

I went into my spare room to store some things in the closet but there was no room. Then I started wondering when the last time was that I played any of the games in all those boxes and whether or not I really would play them again. So, here we are. Honestly, if I wanted to make the most of this, I would have gone to ebay to let the prices climb in bidding wars. Keeping bids reasonable is in fact the entire reason I am doing a silent auction. That and I figure selling them here, many of them would go to fans of the games.

Back in the day I remember thinking that I couldn't believe how many games you said you were going to buy when you already had so many left to play. I guess I figured you actually liked to collect them as much or more than play them. But if you are ready to let them go, then that's all good.

I finally put up everything I have taken pictures of so far. There isn't a whole lot left. Not sure what's in the last few boxes but I am pretty sure it is just hardware that I need to go through.

I'm considering putting up my PS2 but probably won't...

I have several PS1 consoles but need to see which ones still work and what accessories there are.

I may put up a psp1000 and a slim psp2000... still not sure.

Why? Why am I always so piss poor whenever these awesome deals come around?

This is some good stuff though. Anyone with an eye for games like these would be foolish to pass them up.

Well, that got me thinking and because of this I have since updated the first post and decided to include the option to accept trades, once the bidding phase is over.

I just added the consoles and accessories for a few more systems. If you want pictures of any of it, post.

Once the bidding phase is over, will you provide us with a list of games you may want to trade for or do you not want to discuss your plans on this yet either?

Basically I would be open to current generation titles and hardware, seeing as I will be letting all of my non current games and devices go. Nothing too specific comes to mind just yet, we will see when the time comes either what is offered or what I decide I might want.
