Well, the LP I did wasn't a speed run... or a race against other people. I expect that the game would go a lot faster.

I would be fine with 6. If you have to leave for work, we can all pause, save state, and finish it another time.... if that's cool with everyone else.

Well, we'd be doing that "pause every half-hour" thing anyway, so that could work.

Whatever works best for everyone. It isn't hard at all to save states. And hopefully not to tricky to edit the pieces together as well. Actually, it should be a breeze!

Also, like Lantis said we're running as fast as we can. Though I've noticed that under pressure- personally, I mess up more. I'll have to be super sure not to miss any Candy Kong shacks.:X

Currently woke back up for a second, rendering the first video finally. That noise removal tool in Audacity is something else. So amazing. I can't be thankful enough.

How is the non-headset mic dead air kinda sound fixed in Audacity as well? Is that the same tool?

Yeah, any the noise removal works for any drawn out background noise (fans, white noise, air, etc.)

Needless to say, when Lantis gets all these videos up, the speeding up and slowing down at various points of my video will be the result of the desync and me trying to fix it. The audio will be on cue with everyone else, though.

Oh That goes with out saying, what I meant was if the winner picked a game that was...difficult.

I'll be sending mine along as well. It's hard! I think my third one may have desynced slightly, but I haven't gotten that far in rendering yet. The first one was hard to time a tad since I can't hit both recorders at the same time perfectly, but it's maybe a half-second off, if that. Should be too huge of a deal, I hope. It is really hilarious editing by going by your own reactions in a conversation, with everything else being silent.

I've already done a good bit of the work. All I need to do is drop you guy's video in and make sure it's all sync'd up and we're good. This'll be in wide screen HD goodness.

Also, I think I may want to add a bit to the 'winner picks next game' thing. If the winner doesn't want to, or just doesn't care... they can give the option of picking next game to the runner up. And if second place does the same thing, then it goes to third... etc. Also, if the person in first wins the game they suggested for the next time, it automatically goes to second place. I think this way everyone will eventually get to pick what we play. Also, the next four planning to play in the race has veto power. If someone picks a game that no one else wants to play (say... Metroid) then the other three can have it veto'd. I doubt that'll ever happen, but just in case.

If I may toss in a possible game to do eventually for the 2 on 2 thing- Zombies Ate My Neighbors. I completely forgot about that one. It's super short.

Just find a spot in the video where you react to a mistake you made and slide the audio bar to sync up with that.

You're able to. But I record my game audio directly, not have it pick up on my mic.

I have the same problem. My voice records way too quietly using Camtasia. However, the game audio is fine!(Not that it shows in this case, heh.)
