im always up for a game of borderlands. there is still a boarder land of stuff i cant do by myself and everyone else i know has mastered the game. hit me up and ill be sure to do some stuff with ya.

We skipped finishing playthrough 2 last night after hitting max level (which ended up being 69 instead of 71... who knew?), and went straight for Crawmerax. And just like with Ixzion and his negativity towards getting the Nothing Special achievement in Left 4 Dead 1, Insultobot was all, "Yeah, we absolutely can't do this."

So anyways, we jumped into playthough 1 and headed to the Armory. Max level in playthough 1 is 35. In playthrough 2 the Armory's max level is 61, so at worst, we thought we would be dealing with a level 61 Crawmerax on playthough 1. But no. He was 72. O_o

I was playing Berserker, Ix was Soldier, and Insult was Hunter. Insult's role was mostly to take out Crawmerax. He had this amazing sniper that did over 1500 and had X5. I had a sniper that was only 1100+ x3. I could deal some pretty nice damage, and actually ended up taking leg or two which really helped on our run when we actually won. I also had a class mod that increased all damage done by the team by 30%. Oh, and seeing as Berserker just has a hard as hell time dying (specially when you pop his special), I was the meat shield that needed to stay on the battle field at all time. Because if we all died, Crawmerax's HP is topped off. Ix was running support gunner. Making sure we never had ammo needs and was doing a wonderful job keeping the smaller enemies away while Insult and I took pot shots at Crawmerax.

But now, Crawmerax is no more and before our feet lies piles and piles of loot. Not to mention achievements to go along with it. Insult and I now have 80/80 achievements in Borderlands.

All is well in the world of Pandora.

lol crap, i missed my chance at capping this dumb worm. ill have to force my friend online to get it done or not bother. im still trying to get ff13's treasure achievement. had one damn trap to get for months now. its a race between getting enough cash to buy one outright, getting a drop, or getting enough cash to max out the last 20 levels of someones ultra for a breakdown. its a mater of honor now that i get that achievement as a first full game complete. after that ill finish up borderlands as i really enjoyed it.

Oh, we plan on taking him out again at some point. He drops some moderately obese loot, and we want in on it. I plan to build up my hunter so we can have two scavenger mods to increase the rarity of his drops. Also, 1ce is wanting to get on up in levels, so I'll probably be jumping in with him as a hunter. You are more than welcome to join us.

Just get yourselves to at least level 25 and my Berserker will be able to join you. That would be, say... 6-10 hours into the game? So about two nights of Borderlands without me and then I should be there for the third.
