For us gamers, here's some awesome news. Inde developers are going to get federdal funding! The best thing about this is that gaming has a genuine chance to come back to a better time. Today's games are loaded with mostly the same FPS bullspit, or is set way to casually for any of us. With inde devs getting some funding, some really awesome things can finally get the cash they need to get made! You know, things like Dust. Finally, games will have some real ingenuity to them and not just be half-ass'd and have a name slapped on it because they know that name will make money. This actually makes me incredibly excited over what we'll see over the next few years.

But everyone's best friend, Fox News, couldn't take this laying down.

I could rant on forever about how biased and uninformed Fox really is. But I think CAD said it best with the latest comic:
