After a long absents from game making, I have started a new Project with XP.

Right now I'm calling it Mansume Village. You play as Orchid Moon. Her village as been taken over by an invading army. She escapes the intial onslaught and goes in seach of people who are willing to free her Village. I plan to release the game in Chapters. Right now I'm working on Mansume Village - Tides of Change.

Thanks Ix. Right now I'm planning to use a battle system similar to Mystic Quest. I figure it might help me keep my battles better balanced. With the exception to the battle fields.

And as promised, here are some pictures of one of the world maps.

The Rage System will allow the player some control over the game. A situation will be presented to the player between two of the Characters. If the player makes the right choices, both characters will gain special abilities for one battle.The Situations will vary from a heated discussion to making quick decisions during a battle. This will either make the battle easier or harder depending on the choices.

Another thing I'm toying with is the use of limit breaks with my characters. The character will unleash the limit break once they reach a certain number of battles. I went with this rather then setting the health to be a below a certain level as a way to stop the limit breaks from being abused. Another thing is that the limit break will happen automatically and not let the player selecting it.

Character Bios

Orchid Moon
A young women ranging in age from 20 to 25. Her home has always been the village of Mansume, however her birth place is unknown. When she was a baby she wad found abandoned near the village. She was taken in by the village Elders and raised along side their younger daughter.
Moon is an attractive although she hasn't hasn't had many suitors. Many people believe that her strong will, out spoken nature, and stubborness turns most suitors off. Despite this the Villagers have always thought of her as a great addition to the village.

Draco the Bard
A popular performer and a wealthy man from a distant land. When he first started out he had nothing to his name. His choice to become a Bard has alienated him from his home town and his family. He is espically hated by his younger brother, who feels that he abandoned them.
Once becoming a success he soon discovered the finer things in life.
This however did not make him forget his humble beginnings. After making it in the business he soon settled in to a small town. There he helped the village thrieve by donating his money and skills. In doing so he gained much respect.
His youthful apperance hides his wisdom. However he has on major flaw. He has come to believe that money can solve all problems, and that it is best to talk things out before taking any action.

Terrin
Terrin is a little older then Moon, but has had more experince with the outside world. Since he was a teenager he has worked for Draco as his bodyguard. Draco hired Terrin after he was viciously attacked by a group of bandits.
From the outside world Terrin appears to be cold and calculating. Only one female knows of his soft and caring nature.
Terrin feels bad for Draco. ForTerrin left his home with great support from his family and entire village.

Odin the Swordsman
Odin is the youngest member of the party. He has a strong hatred for his brother, Draco. He has never ventured outside his village, but feels he can handle anything that comes his way.
Coming from a much respected family, he figures the respect is handed out, rather then earned. While people respect his swordmanship. his brash, angry, and arrogant demeanor turns most people off.

Solstice the Sorceress
Solstice is around the same age of Moon. She was once a highly respected Sorceress of a kingdom, but she couldn't stand all the pomp and circumstances. So she abandoned her postion and ventured off into the world. By doing so she soon discovered she could help people more easily. Being easily bored, Solstice is always looking for excitement, however she prefers to stay out of trouble.

Black Raven the Mercenary
A female ranging in age from 28 to 30 years of age. Black Raven has no known family members and not much is known about her. The only thing people know about her is from gossip in the local bars. Rumor has it that she has never had an unsatifyed customer, but that could be because she just killed them.
Her cold calculating nature makes it hard for people to approach her. Her and Draco soon fall in favor with each other, cause she is willing to do anything for the right price.
