*The Death Egg isn't at Launch Base Zone
*The Death Egg isn't at Lava Reef Zone
*The ghosts have already been released in Sandopolis Zone
*Angel Island is floating during Knuckles' story, as evident by the final boss battle with Mecha Sonic. If it was taking place at the same time as Sonic's story, it would be in the ocean.

Incidentally - Sonic 1 takes place over the span of 1 day:
Green Hill Zone - morning
Marble Zone - daytime
Spring yard zone - evening
Labyrinth Zone - Inside, so no look at the sky
Star Light Zone - night
Scrap brain zone - dawn

Sonic & Knuckles takes place over the course of 3 days, 6 if you count Knuckles story.

I said holy hell.

Do all the GTAs look that way cause I bet the style started with Vice City which was trying to look 80s although that price is right is really more 70s.

The Sonic 3 and Knuckles thing really got me. I mean, I'm really suprised that I didn't pick up on that. It's kind of obvious now. And btw, picking that stuff out is getting me to want and play it again. I remember back in the day... I had 4 files (Hyper Sonic, Hyper Knuckles, Hyper Tailes, and even a Hyper Sonic w/tails) mastered. I played that game religiously.

Btw... I lol'd at the font thing. Kind of reminds me of the Spiderman/Playstation3 thing. Oh... and here's one for you:

Kinda interesting. Zelda's been using that same music since Zelda 1, and only just now did we realize that they reused the beat in Mario 3.

Oh, that's nothing. in SMB3 the warp whistle tune is the same one that plays when you use the flute in TLOZ1.

Snake man stage from MM3 and Guile's Theme from Street Fighter 2 are similar as well. go look it up.
