What exactly is the difference between the special edition and the regular one?

I saw an image of it on an article on RPGM Mag and found a copy for sale on Amazon.

Funny how our image says "Special Edition" on the package but the Canadian sale doesn't.

I vaguely recall there being mentionings of a "Special Edition" when it originally released. I can't remember what the details were, but I'm pretty sure that no such edition actually exists, and the confusion simply comes from a cover that didn't happen. Or else I'm sure I would've bought it.

There's no difference. Agetec was planning to call it Special Edition, but they dropped it.

The image in the vault is one of the earlier pictures I could find to use with RM3. I just never changed it all these years.
