I don't know whether it's any good, or whether any of the classic characters make an appearance. Once again, I just happened to follow an ad that caught my eye. Figure I'd link it, since I know a certain someone here might find it of interest. Apologies if it's a crap show.

Aside from the design of the title?

I watched a few episodes quite a few years back and it's not even really that good. Stythe is right though, the anime has nothing to do with the Chrono series. The fact that the title screen has the word 'chrono' and is themed after time with the clock hands is just a coincidence.

I never finished the series though, so maybe it got better... so if you want to give it a shot, report back.

A few years, huh? Yeah, I kinda figured it wasn't a new thing. I'll likely give it a pass, as I'm not near as much a fan of the original game as you are.

But to be fair, Chrono Cross didn't have much to do with the original game, either.

Christ sake, dude, this has nothing to do with any "original" anything. How many times does it need to be said? They're COMPLETELY unrelated.

Different staff.

Different company.

Different story.

Different characters.

Different type of entertainment.

No references.

No licensed usage of franchise.

The only, and I mean the ONLY thing that is related is the fact that "Chrono" is in the title, and even then the original title was actually called "Chrno Crusade" for stylistic effect but renamed Chrono during localization because NA is full of morons. And Chrono, in case you didn't know, means time. The clock is an easy design to use for it and it appears in many logos that have Chrono in the name.

This is exactly like saying "Damn, I really liked Seven with Brad Pitt so I might like Hannah Montana's Seven Things I Hate About You!"
