Also, a good long time ago a group of people made a romhack of Chrono Trigger. They were making Chrono Trigger 2. And they had put much more effort into this than I though could be done with a romhack. Well, they got a C&D letter, of course. But they were all like "F that noise" and they still made it. And it was leaked the other day. It's about 98% complete in beta... so it's not all the way finished, but it's still a full game. I can't wait to dig into this.

ive been waiting for this hack for a thousand and one years. i followed it in its infancy stages over at the big chrono site. when its fully out ill delve into it.

also i have never wanted to play a game more then i have of muramasa: the demon blade. i dont own a wii but i actually looked up prices of one to buy just so i could play this game. i really dig the style and game play and may yet buy it.

i just bought a pile of new games as i got tired of my old ones. got me two new ys games, and gona play 4 heroes of light. i have arc of asylum to play as well. still trying to get my master achievement in ff13 - its just so hard to get back into it just to smash a few shea long gui for dark mater and traps.

Getting a platinum in FF13 is a b*tch. I had do two "perfect" files to do it because I sold the f*cking spark ring and couldn't get it's upgrade form. The trophy where you have to have owned all items was plain stupid.

@ Karr - Be careful, Muramasa was made by the same people who made Odinsphere. And that game LOOKED fantastic as well. It was the most repetitive crap I've ever played, and the level up system is painstakingly unforgivable. I have yet to play Muramasa because I can't trust that they've fixed.

@ Lausen - Ouch. I bet you were kicking yourself for that one.

I was not happy. And because getting all of the items doesn't count between all playthroughs I had to get everyones best weapons and beat the Doom Hearld again. Although, all 4 of my wisdon teeth were just removed when I was playing so I didn't have anything better to do.

One day, I shall accomplish this personally grandiose feat (in my mind, anyway, considering I live for this kind of thing and all) on the hardest difficulty level.

.... Once I have done that, I will have at last achieved true status as a Protector of the Angels. On my honor as a knight, I will see this day happen. *holds up the Northern Longblade in a knightly salute*

... Done.

Without saving at any point while following the Little Sister, might I add.

I know some wiseguys here will try desperately to undermine what I have just done (yes, I'm looking at you, Kaizo Lantis), but I do believe this accomplishment makes me about the fiercest, most badass Protector to ever walk the world.

Once again, May I reiterate ->

Aiming for all achievements in Tales of Vesperia and I'm currently at 44/50... soon to be 45/50. The rest should come on the next big run and that'll be that.

I now have 45/50 cheevs and will be working on 46 of 50 today, and probably even the others. Now, I might not get them all today, but I'm getting closer.

I finally left the Cardianon home world in SO4. I had to sure I got all the monster data and all the treasure chests. Doesn't help that part of my Newegg and ebay orders arrived halfway through the main dungeon there... That added three hours to my save while Edge and crew stared at the same wall the entire time.

Super Street Fighter IV (some)
Xenogears - I've made more progress. But I'm only about 2 or so hours in.

I'm still playing Eternal Sonata with my old lady. Also, I made some good headway into Golden Sun as well. I finished Valkyria Chronicles a few days ago and couldn't have been happier with the game. This weekend I'll be playing Dead Space 2 with SK when he comes over.

Been playing Star Ocean: The Last Hope lately. I am trying to go for achievements as I go as well as Battle Trophies. The BTs are great to get since they not only give you cheevos, they also raise your level cap in the game for each character that you collect enough BTs for.

I am going down the list the best I can as I play. Currently, I am working on Faize's BT for being airborne for a total of 30 minutes. Easiest way is to hold B and a direction. While working on this, I have discovered something:

Spoons are always relevant to gaming.

it might be hard to tell, but I wrapped the band around the handle of the spoon and adjusted the tension on the downward length of the band to keep the analogue stick from being under too much stress.

That is pretty freaking awesome. And I only unlocked the level cap on the four characters I was using as main. I was able to take out Gabriel Celeste but I still haven't mustered up the courage to take on Ethereal Queen yet. My save is right outside her dungeon.

Aside from Eternal Sonata and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, I've been playing Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes and Flames of Eternity side-by-side. Just to notice the differences between the two. They are, for the most part, the same game... but there are some interesting changes between the two.

Been playing a lot of Civ 5 lately. Love it dearly. If you're a fan of the civ games or of strategy in general I urge you to check it out. It's quite the gem.

Been spending basically all my time this week playing Lunar 2, which I've already beaten before, but wanted to beat again. I started on Tuesday, and now I'm 30 hours in, at the start of the last dungeon.

I've stopped playing Super Street Fighter IV and MAG for a while. I'm gonna focus on the following games:

Xenogears
Bioshock 2

I've gotten further in Xenogears, to the point where

You first meet Bart, you fight, and you end up underground looking for switches.

but I haven't gone further than that.

In Bioshock 2, which I'm digging so far, I've just made it to the 3rd main location.

Just a word of warning in case you make the same mistake I did of not understanding the dire importance of gear equipment, Ix ->
Make sure you purchase the latest engine design that is available in Balthasar's shop when you find him in the underground dungeon that you're currently in, else your gears WILL not be strong enough to defeat the boss at the end of said dungeon. I was stuck trying to figure out why I could barely cause damage to him for days on my first playthrough. I had no idea that not upgrading your gears' engines by just one or two levels would make such an extreme difference in victory or defeat.

I generally do all of my handheld gaming at work, so right now I am going through Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals on the DS. It's not quite as good as the SNES original, I guess, but it is actually more enjoyable to play and a rather interesting take on the original Lufia story. It seems like an almost complete retelling of the story in the DS version, in fact. Particularly, I really like the recent and unexpected battle I had with ->
Gades, who as you know is the only Sinistral you confront or even know of for the first half of the SNES version. It was, surprisingly, very intense, not to mention challenging, having to fight this guy at such an early point in the game, and actually have to win it. You fight him up on the balcony of the largest mansion in Percylete, and this time he's no p***y that you can easily trounce like in the SNES version once you are far enough into the story to prove a match for him. He consistently is on the move to where you have to really time your attacks in order to connect with them, attacks you with sword strikes at Hiten Mitsurugi-like speed, and has no qualms about fighting dirty by flying up into the air where you can't reach him and summoning a small meteor shower that you have to keep tumble-rolling out of the way of for several seconds. It seemed as though victory was hopeless for me, but was only all the more satisfying when I finally persevered and got him. I couldn't believe that it took every available healing resource I had in order to outlast him (and I had the maximum supply of healing resources you are allowed to carry at once), but at least it shows that this time the Sinistrals really are as powerful as they claim they are, and pull no punches when fighting me. They were extremely disappointing opponents in the SNES version.

On top of it all, I actually like this new, bolder look that Tia has ->
