I've been working on this a little over a month now, considering planning, angle, and actual execution. Everything on the site was made by me except for a couple of jquery plugins.

Most of my time has been spent trying to figure out how to integrate new development tools into my skillset. Using the old way, I could have probably done some things a lot faster, but I stuck to my guns and forced myself to do it the new way. And it's definitely paid off. I have some good ideas.

What do you guys think?

actually, that is pretty cool.

i was all with the raising of eyebrows at the previous comment, but having clicked, yeah; it's a neat style and seems well realised. the way that you set up incident reports is nicely done, though i've no idea how hard that is to do.

"United States Department of the Internet", indeed.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

The Incident Report section was a pain in the ass because I had to modify the default package I used to bring the slideshow to life. I also couldn't use list elements because the package reserved them to make it work. I had to get creative and use a table to simulate the list.

The form on the page also works. If you hit submit without doing anything, it'll come up with a snazzy alert to tell you that you f*cked up. Doing it correctly will give me a message.
