Um... hi?

So, I've been gone for a while. Long story short, I basically entered a work-coma and have been doing about nothing but eating, sleeping, and working since July.

First of all, though, I want to apologize for just disappearing. I regret not even saying anything. I didn't plan to "leave," it sort of happened gradually as my work became more and more demanding.

As some people have no doubt surmised, I tried taking on way too many projects and my mind just overloaded. My new job has been far more mentally demanding than I was really prepared for - I couldn't handle it, and any kind of personal projects at the same time.

Everything I was doing in July/August is in exactly the same spot as it was then, literally. Kupid 2.0 is unmoved, and covered in half-an-inch of dust. And I don't really know where to go from here.

I haven't been lurking, either, so I am clueless about what has or hasn't happened since I vanished. Though, I was able to gather that Agetec never gave approval for the translation of RPGT4. Disappointing, but hardly unexpected.

As for everything else, namely Kupid 2.0, DDR, and the other miscellaneous projects (RPGT4 vids, etc), I can't say what I intend to do right now. I kind of have my fingers crossed that I'm now at a place where I can better balance work and, uh, non-work work. But if I decide to try to be active, in some capacity, in this community again, odds are I'll take it slow.

So that's how it stands now.

So you weren't a figment of my imagination... you did exist! I was starting to wonder. Honestly, even if you don't pick up on non-work work, I'm kind of just glad you're back really. I hate to say that I'm not surprised at what you've been doing during your absence, teh lulz. Though you haven't really missed anything, truth be told. We're getting ready to meet for the fourth year in a row... but that's about it site-wise. Personally though, quite a bit has changed. But I don't plan to bore you away right when you've come back. So on that note, welcome back!

Hey, welcome back! Wow, has it really been that long since we last saw you? Glad to see you managed to find the time to see us again. And I'm with Lantis. Even if you aren't doing anything community-wise, you're still welcome to hang out.

As for what you missed, I tried to get the translation of RPGT4's sample game started again, using videos so people could see all the text in context and could maybe help. I got maybe one piece of input, and that's it. Guess the interest wasn't really there.

Oh, and was I using this name in the chat already by the time you disappeared? Yeah, in case you weren't aware, I was Draygone. Decided that my trek to womanhood was certain enough that I got my name changed community-wide.

Dammit, and I was finally getting used to not seeing pharaohs all the time.
