GUESS WHAT I DID!

Step 1:

Skittles.



Step 2:

Separate the Skittles.



Step 3:

Bottles.



Step 4:

(n) ounces of vodka into the bottles.



Step 5:

(n)*10 Skittles into the bottles.



Step 6:

Mix. Shaking speeds up the process. Skittles must be fully dissolved.



Step 7:

Filter with coffee filter to remove white film.

Then freeze overnight.



Step 8:

Enjoy the awesome. Taste the rainbow. Get shitfaced. Use it to get people drunk when they don't even know they're drinking alcohol. Rape all who pass out. Profit.

I'm highly skeptical Skittles alone can hide the relentless burning of vodka. But that aside, this is beyond awesome.

Well, there's still a slight bite of vodka with the formula I used ((n)*10), but you could always increase it to (n)*15 or even (n)*20. The orange especially still has some vodka kick to it.

It's still f*cking amazing. Try it. I'm using these (plus some more I'm making today) for our New Years party. One bottle of these is equivalent to 8 shots of vodka with the amounts I used, so one per person should be quite enough. :3

actually, I have some smirnoff vodka too. It has a blue label, and I have no idea if that makes a difference... so all I'll need is some skittles. Though I think I'm going to try some alternate flavor... or something other than just original.

smirnoff blue is 100 proof, whereas red is 80 or 86 or some such. which is to say, the blue is stronger at 50%, than red at 40% or 43%, or whatever. assuming it's a bottle of US origin that you have

Just spent like twenty minutes looking for a pic and couldn't find one.

Anyways, my ex-roommate Devin (graftreaper) bought one of those vodka filled skulls a while back. Ended up willing it with cherry lifesavers. Result looked rather cool, but tasted rather disgusting.

Anyways, very neat idea, especially using the coffee filters to get rid of the residue. Will have to try it out.

Cherry lifesavers probably taste pretty similar to, you know, cherry skittles.. in which case I totally understand the awful flavor. The red skittle vodka thinger tasted like.. really bad cough syrup, yeah, that. Haven't made that one since, though I've made all the other ones two or three times since.
