The forums are the main lifeblood of the site. So I would like to know what kinds of things you would like to be added or changed for v6.

This includes:
New mods that you think might be fun or useful
http://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/find-contribution/ - a list of forum modifications I could potentially install

More or different smilies
and yes,

more templates. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that something akin to icyTech needs to make a return?

Know anything else that could improve this?

Does anybody even use IceTech but me? It's got some pretty glaring issues (such as a background image with a very obvious tiling point and a full-site nav bar that doesn't suit any of the rest of the theme and a banner that doesn't take up the full width of the forum table) but unless there's some actual demand for it I can't say it'd be worth it to remake it.

If you are going to remake IcyTech or create some other skins then it might be an idea to make the skins also work on the rest of the site so as to integrate the forum a little more with the entire site. As it is, the themes have no effect anywhere but on the forums and it just looks odd when going back and forth between forums and the main site.

I will be sure to make any new styles 100% scalable with a user's particular resolution. I'm abandoning table-based layouts in favor of CSS, which gives me much more control over the page elements. Integration of the overall site is one of the main goals of v6, so probably what you choose will be site-wide.
