And it that spirit,....

So I'm A level 20 Siren, and I love to snipe. I've seen the other action skills and hers seems to be the most useful. I mean it turns you invisible, sends you flying across the map at warp speed, and when you enter/exit it does splash damage every thing with in a 30 ft radius. I love to use it after I've worn out a group of enemies. multiple simultaneous kills = win. :)

When I'm unable to snipe from afar I like me my scatter/shotguns. I also have a rocket launcher for the big jobs (wearing out bad ass skag mostly) and when my last weapon slot opens I'm thinking of stashing a pistol or revolver with elemental in there.
Of course, I also use transfusion grenades, but my one issue is that I can never seem to hold on to enough money in this game to buy upgrades. :XD

one suggestion:

go mordecai.

go bloodwing spec plus whichever talent from the sniper tree allows you to reduce bloodwing's cooldown with each sniper round fired.

roll around in money.

Mordecai is awesome! My bloodwing makes it rain money, and usually KSes Lantis haha.

Cute. I remember when I had my first beer.

I have some limited motion back in my trigger finger. I think I might be able to play tonight. Any takers? Say... 5pm AZ?

I wouldn't mind finishing up the Armory. Btw, I went into the game on single player trying to get the Largest Bullet Tour achievement, and even by myself I couldn't get it to work. That and the effort of finding all the loot midgets solo really makes it look like I won't be 100% Borderlands... =(

That's lame. I don't understand what the problem is. Maybe on your playthrough 2 or on a different save you can do the armory solo to that point to be safe.

Actually my big problem is that I tend to plow through stuff and I also tend to think Lilith has a serious case of "female game character-itis" (High speed/tech abilities at the expense of heath and armor bonuses) Combine the two and that equates to lots of rapid fire dying. As you all know New-U costs money and it is always a percentage of your total cash earnings. I might see $6,000, but then I get in over my head in an area and *BAM* i just lost $300 of it to a respawn. Now that I'm in the Dahl Headlands however, I seem to be keeping it above $11,000, and I'm sure that the remaining Fyerstone missions will go a bit smoother. The one mission I'm gonna give a miss to (for a while, as by necessity, I have to solo) is Skagzilla. Even at the suggested level 20, I'm having doubts it will be an easy task. Marley and Moe were a hand full even at level 19 for me, and the game was telling me that the mission was of "trivial" difficulty by that point. So...yeah...gonna wait on that...

Skagzilla is easier than the Marley and Moe missions. His attacks are very avoidable and you just lay into him with a repeater or smg until his mouth opens when you then hit him with heavier guns or rockets.

11k? I'm fairly sure I've thrown away weapons that sold for more than that. It's actually kind of gotten to the point that if anyone is short on cash for anything, someone else will buy it for you. And with four people playing, that's a lot of cash. No money issues at all. Also, the team mods have been vitally helpful. Team health regen, team max healh increase, team shield regen (faster), TEAM AMMO REGEN? I would say this was game-breaking if it wasn't for the fact we've lost twice now at the Underdome. And it's looking like the Armory isn't going to fit us out with weapons that'll really help out at the Underdome either. Or at least not THAT much more from what we had previously. It really seems to just come down to chance on the rounds. Naked (no shields) is just plain murder.

Anyways, after we finish the Armory, we should give the Underdome another go. If we are still having issues, I say we pop for the newest DLC. I'm sure the levels and weapons we get there will be more than enough to get us what we need to finally own the Underdome.

::edit::

Found out why the World's Largest Bullet wasn't working...

Quote:
The cost required to buy a tour of the bullet is exactly 8 million dollars ($8,000,000), and the tour will only work if you have such amount. Once you put the money in, you shall get the achievement. Note that nothing will actually happen if you pay the money, it is simply a means of getting the achievement.

The guide goes on to say that you can keep the money if you quite IMMEDIATELY after you get the achievement and go back to the dashboard. So woot for that.

Also, Insultobot and I spend this evening getting the loot midget achievement. It actually wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. And for some reason, it counted for both of us instead of individually like originally noted.

Okay guys, I know last night we planned to get on tonight to take on Crawmerax (which is certain to take up a good deal of time)... but I will have to back out tonight. This morning a good friend of my from out of state is coming in for Thanksgiving. And along with some other friends, wanted me and Rachael to come with. Sorry to back out like this. =/

Insultobot or drew... do you guys happen to have a character that hasn't done "It's like Christmas" yet? Ix and I just spent this night getting all the missions up to this point to try and unglitch our messed up mission logs. And even after getting all of Marcus' missions taken care of to where It's like Christmas was supposed to happen, it still wouldn't work. Steel Loot is already checked off but not Countdown Started. And after beating General Knoxx, the blast doors to the armory are closed and can't open.

The only way to get around this is if someone hasn't done this mission yet and they let us join them. =(

I do. My Siren. But then I will need someone else to get to this point (you can skip straight to DLC before beating the game if it helps) to do this for my soldier.

Blame me guys. Blame me. I'm fairly sure it all started with my soldier when I was playing with Ix.

So if Insultobot uses his Siren to get Ix and myself past this problem.... we can then get Drew to use his Hunter to help get your Soldier as well. Then we should all be good to go, right?

Sounds like a plan! I am off tomorrow so we can do it then.

But I am starting to wonder if my siren really has not done it. I was racing through the dlc solo with one of them and it may have been her...

If not I still have my other two characters. Shouldn't take long (five hours?) to run it.

If you don't already have the latest DLC, Revolution, get now before long at a reduced price. It is at this moment 400 :mspoints ($5)
