.... Well, I did it. I defeated the great Bacon Soda Demon. .... 'Can't say I am ever going to remember that particular battle fondly, though. Lantis made a good observation; the site where I almost fell prey to my evil adversary really did look like a murder scene (before turning the bathroom light on) because of the soda's reddish-brown color.

Oh, I have had a friend for a year that kept me thinking that he looked familiar. I finally figured it out. About four years ago, I went to a concert and became a huge fan of the opening act, The Stiletto Formal. They put out three albums and signed on with some label in LA. At the second concert that I attended of theirs, I bought the first album and met the bassist after the show. He signed it and helped me track down the rest of the band to have them sign it as well. It took a half hour since they were split off with several other acts on their way out to parties/bars and such. We finally got the disc signed by all of the band members and had a blast doing it. We had loads of fun just hanging out and making fun of others as well as ourselves.

Three years later, I met this guy that I instantly became friends with. We hang out all the time. He mentioned that he used to tour a lot in his band but a hand injury keeps him from playing anymore. I literally never asked him about that band. Just a few nights ago, I was going through old cd's and throwing out many of them (because of future science space people) when I found that disc.

I saw the first name on it and freaked out! This whole time, I have been friends with that bassist and didn't realize it!

I haven't told him yet. We are meeting for lunch on Wednesday. I plan on bringing the cd with me and being all "lol"
