She seemed almost like a myth around here, as infrequently as she seemed to show up. The only things I can recall about her at all offhand is her user name and the fact that her avatar was of Chun Li (I think), ... and I have been here, what? Four years?

Oh, by the way, Regal just referred to me in an email as Syaraon. 'Hardly ever been called by the character who represents my avatar, before.

True to my name as the Protector of Angels, also, I had just recently faced Xenobia (one of the three evil witches in Lunar: Silver Star Story) and slew her in battle during my lunch break at work today. Tomorrow, all I must do is face the only one more powerful than she - the dreaded Magic Emperor Ghaleon! (But at least he is an enemy I can respect, unlike Xenobia or her equally twisted and ugly sister Royce.)

*holds up the Northern Longblade as though SK has just pulled it out of a sacred stone when everyone else failed at doing so*

"I have slain the evil witch Xenobia at last, and now I shall go on to rescue the princess!"

(Which would be Luna in this case.)



... Okay, so maybe I don't have any interesting stories to tell, tonight. Leave me alone.

I can just see Alex and the gang hanging out on a quilt outdoors eating some sandwiches or something only for Xenobia to come try to crash their picnic. And after her demise, everyone just goes back to eating like nothing happened.

I have gone on to defeat Ghaleon as well, today.

I must say, I was rather disappointed. The PSP version seemed to tone down his difficulty by a good margin, most noticeably with the removal of his two greatest techniques that he used to turn the tide of battle in his favor easily back in the PS1 days - Fate Storm (which was guaranteed to KO a chracter) and another attack whose name I can't remember but sucked out a substantial amount of HP from everyone to add to his own. Also, his normal sword attack didn't seem to do crap for damage this time around, even to a squishy girl like Mia. It was kind of a blow to see his power noticeably reduced. I was expecting - and eagerly anticipating - a harder fight than that.

Oh well, in the end all that matters is that I rescued Luna and enjoyed a nice PB&J sandwich at the same time, ... much to Xenobia's annoyance.

heh, unfortunately my current struggles are of a much more mundane kind, the usual 'trying to stuff RAW LEARNING into unwilling minds' thing. functional english language skills; correct use of commas, apostrophes, confidence-building, etc etc... all achieved with the unreliable aid of that fickle mistress; the worksheet!

It would seem that Regal's life has become a real-life adaptation of your average teacher-inspires-bad-kids-who-simply-haven't-been-given-a-chance themed movie right now.

An utterly delightful girl posed as my waitress at IHOP yesterday evening. She was very cute and amazingly friendly, even for a waitress. I even learned that she had a very cute name - Mary Christine. ... And most two-part names don't work very well, at least in my opinion.

I only wish that I hadn't just come from work at the time, so that I could have been more presentable.
