We're heading back to Chattanooga, TN. It seems like it's basically in the middle of our core group (plus or minus a few hours).

The cost for MagCon 2011 is $115, which includes Mag Dinner. This assumes that all 10 of the people we have listed do arrive. This may be subject to change depending on situation.

Because of the increase in cost this year of our hotel, we have decided to take the hotel's advance purchase offer to receive a price that resembles what we had at MagCon 2010. However, in order to receive this, we must get 100% of everyone's money upfront and WE CAN NOT CANCEL THIS RESERVATION. If you make a payment for MagCon 2011, and then later have an emergency or something come up, we CAN NOT AND WILL NOT refund your money. Be aware of this fact and sure that you want to have an awesome time with us!

In order to be sure that we get the rooms we request, we must do this early. Last year, I was lucky to get those two rooms, as the hotel had been pretty healthily-booked by January 25th this year.Therefore, Lantis and I need all money for MagCon 2011 by December 27th, 2010. I'm sure some of you may be getting Christmas money. Use that for the Con! I will have the arrangements made as soon as I get the capital.

10 point-based games from the classic NES, SNES, GEN, GB/GBA consoles. They are completely random and chosen by Ixzion.

Dinner and a Movie - The Room
We shall dine and watch the greatest bad movie of all time.

RPG Maker Let's Play Showcase
All of the MagCon attendees will participate in a Let's Play session with the games we've received from the community. 5 guaranteed main attractions, with a potential sideboard of games we might play if we have time.

Magic the Gathering Tournament
The people who play Magic will participate in a good-ol' tournament! Shoulda brought your cards? Indeed!

All other times at MagCon 2011 will just be us just freaking hangin' out and doing what we want. No need for a fully-packed schedule, yes?

Sounds great! What about the people who don't play Magic?

Dominion Tournament : P. Only one person has to bring the cards for that, and that can be me. Of course I'm sure we'll also have plenty of gaming systems.

Are your calculations assuming I'm in? Just curious since if it was uneven I wouldn't mind driving back and forth, but if so then I'll chip in.

I don't do horrible movies. But there's always outside time to take its place.

Last time I played/owned MtG was right when 4th edition came out... yeah.

Games and food are a win though. Can always use more games and food.

Last year we tried to fill the schedule to the brim with stuff... you know, to pad out the entire weekend. But what just kind of naturally happened is that we would start doing whatever instead. Some of the times we weren't doing anything but just hanging out were just as fun as when we were doing planned stuff. So this year we aren't going to worry too much about making sure ever second we have something to do. If there's anything in particular you guys would like to do, by all means. Last year we talked about doing tournaments for certain games... and that really didn't work out. But if we are just kind of hanging out and someone like like, "hey, we should do a X tournament" then we can just as easily do that instead.

Sounds great. Can't wait!

I'm more old school nerd. My tourneys are made of chess.

Schedule permitting, I'll fly out and spend a day there. I'll bring something special for everyone too.

Secured an airline job again after being out a YEAR due to injury. So flight benefits mean I'll likely be able to at least pop in.
Due to the unsure nature of non-rev standby flying though, I can't put down money to secure a spot, but if I CAN make it, I'll grab a room at a nearby hotel I have a discount at or something. I'll pitch in for dinner, too.

Will you be using the same Viddler channel as last year's?

Yeah, we're definitely gonna be using our Viddler channel again. And I'll be sure to check out those comments today.
