I had to take a trip around the admin building for a bit... when I noticed something.

You know that plastic mat you put down from computer chairs for rooms with carpet? You know, so the wheels have something to roll on? Well, just about half of everyone at my job... if their room is hard wood or tile, they still have the mats. The f*ck?

Also, the purpose of those mats is to protect the floor. The mat displaces the pressure points the chair puts on the floor and lessens the damage to both carpet and hard (tile/wood) flooring over time. Silly Lantis.

@ Stythe - Really? Because those things are spiked on the bottom. And I would think hard plastic spikes would do more damage than smooth plastic wheels.

Namco Bandai actually. His name is Regal and he's a playable character in Tales of the Abyss. And his name is actually on par with Squeenix's bad naming scheme from Chrono Cross.
