As I'm sure you know, I will be coming from ATL, GA.

It's too bad that this year I can't even entertain the idea of committing to going. I have so much going on this semester and next that a MagCon for me in 2011 won't happen. It is possible I can in 2012, since I will be working like a normal person then.

I somehow doubt in the middle of a semester you would be so busy you couldn't take a weekend off because of school (or at least 2 days). If you also have other social obligations then that would make sense. My weekends were pretty much always free, and I still ended up with a 3.6 in 4 years at a tough school : ). My weeks were another story.

Well, I have a design project that is ongoing for the entire school year. And depending on the date, it could DEFINITELY be a no go, as I may have to do a presentation not too long after MagCon. But I'm going to have plenty to work on. Can't say if I wouldn't be able to go, but the way it looks, the answer it almost a definitive no. However, I get tired of people questioning whether I'll actually be too busy or not. Last year, I had two tests and a formal lab report due immediately after MagCon last year, which wasn't predicted, but in hindsight, it was a good idea to not go. But I know, I know, "You could study ahead of time and do the paper beforehand."

What school was that, the University of Phoenix? Get over yourself.

Schoolwork seems like a pretty good reason to be unsure about going.
