I'm on the last dungeon in 3DDGH. Definitely not going to be going for the plat trophy for this game, would take more time and more frustration than it's worth.

Gonna probably resell it while the supply is still really low.

Edit:: HOLY f*ck THE LAST BOSS IS IRRITATING AS f*cking HELL. DON'T try him if you don't have the hero shield, seriously.

I've been playing Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.
It's not what I was expecting, but i'm enjoying it so far. I'm still not sure that I like it more than Tales of Symphonia, though.

I'm sorry to hear that. You have my condolences.

The only thing I've been up to is Mario Galaxy 2... which is amazing. The interface for the levels and worlds is different from Galaxy 1, and I don't much care for it. In 1 you had observatories that would take you to the universes "worlds" and all the levels "galaxies" were planets in orbit around each other. In 2 they call the worlds 'worlds' just like they used to... but call all the levels within the worlds 'galaxies.' I'm like... :\ And also, the layout is much more similar to older Mario titles with big thick yellow lines connecting all the levels instead of that planetary orbit theme going from 1. Though that's really my only complaint. Everything else about the game is just fantastic. If only other Wii games were like this...

I finally started having fun with Final Fantasy Tactics about 10 hours into it. I've been boosting my characters by fighting over and over before progressing the story.

Ramza - Knight
Cedric - Monk
Boyle - Wizard
Barsia - Priest

That's my main team, since you can only use like 4-5 of them at a time anyway. I've concentrated on them.

Once you get late into the game, most of your party will consist of story important characters, like TG Cid....

Playing some Suikoden 2 to dick around with all the characters to see what combinations can be fun or even more beneficial than my Viktor, Flik, Pesmerga, Riou, Luc, and Tengaar team.

A few weeks ago I finally beat Xenosaga II. It's sort of refreshing to send crazy religious world-controlling nutcases to the Hell they so adamantly preach that everyone else in the galaxy are going to end up in.

... Soon, it will be time to take on Episode III for the first time ever. I have a feeling I am in for our most dangerous space-faring adventure, yet.

I have been playing Phantasy Star Portable non stop since I heard that the sequel was finally announced for US release. I am playing as a male human and trying to max out all the types with him. In the last 3 days I got Hunter and Ranger maxed out and am working on Force now. I don't like Force in this game nearly as much as in PSO. But maybe I just need better spells and equipment.

The Japanese version of PSPo2 lets you take your char from the first PSPo and import him/her into the next. I hope there's a demo released for PSPo2 soon so I can start already.

Just plopped down 140 bucks on Suikoden 1 and 2. They were both complete and in great condition. I hesitated a little bit since PSX RPG's are a bit hit or miss with me, but I've heard nothing but good things about both, so I took the plunge. Hope it goes well!

Suikoden 2 is amazing, Suikoden 1 isn't quite as good, but it's still excellent.

Great games but if you would have asked me, I would have sold you 1-5 and tactics for that much! ah well. I just told a friend who is here now about this and now he wants to buy them off me. All's well and all.

I just got all my parts for adding doing the dual nub mod on my PSP slim. Getting it all ready now and going as far as I can tonight with it.

I beat BF:Bad Company 2 and now going to do it on hard and get the last few campaign cheevos.
Still playing PS:P2 a bunch. Great games.

:lol While I have a lot of reasons to think that The original Tales of Symphonia is superior to the sequel, it did entertained me for a while. I don't think I could stomach a New Game+ for it though... not much of an incentive to do so.
So I got a "new" RPG. Phantom Brave: We Meet Again

And we did meet again, since I have the PS2 version. :lol I started the "Another Marona" alternate story, which is a shorter, harder alternate story where
Everybody suddenly dies at the beginning, except Marona, and the phantoms of pretty much every NPC that matters joins you, like Sprout, Raphael, and Walnut.

I'm still very early on the story. This mode is though, and I haven't played PB in a while, so I'm a bit rusty with the confine system and mana and all that stuff

Wait... there's a sequel to Phantom Brave on the Wii?! Holy crap! Why hasn't anyone mentioned this to me?!

It's not a sequel, actually. It's the same game with added content.
Among the new things it has is the New Game+ (which apparently the original didn't have, and Another Marona mode, which has a few new confinable objects/weapons, new special Phantoms (which are actually NPCs from the original game) and totally new character.

The game also brings a CD rom with Phantom Brave's digital art. (I haven't been able to check it out, since I don't have a CD drive.)
You can get a new copy at 20 bucks too.

With Crackdown2 coming out on the 6th, I am working on finishing all the achievements on Crackdown1. I only have the races left for 3 cheevos, beat the game on hardest in time trial mode, drive a vehicle through the many many stunt markers, and one co-op minigame. So six left. I can do it for sure, just not necessarily before the sequel is out.

I've been putting a lot more time into Final Fantasy Tactics. I'm having fun with this game now, which I wouldn't have said 28 hours ago.

I'm a few battles into Chapter 2 right now. I've been training like crazy.

My team is L17 and is:

Ramza - Lancer
Guts (Master)
Weapon Guard
Concentrate
Move +2

Cedric - Monk
Item (Hi-Potion, Ether, Phoenix Down, Auto-Potion, status effects)
Hamedo
Job Points Up
Move +1

Boyce - Summoner
Basic Skill (Master)
Counter Tackle (saving up for MP Restore)
Half MP
Move +1

Barsia - Time Mage
White Magic
Counter Tackle
Short Charge
Teleport

I'd put Gain JP Up back on every single one until you have all the skills you are sure you want for that character. I know some really good sh*t goes in that slot, but it's worth it. There's a bunch of ways to make up for it though. Like instead of Half MP for your summoner, keep that Monk near-by and Chakra that MP back. Then you'll be getting more JP so you can get the high end summons quicker... like Golem and Bahamut.

I've finally started playing Tales of Vesperia. I've made it outside of town and onto the world map for the first time. And I'm looking forward to what's to come. Aside from Tales of Symphonia 2, the Tales series has never really let me down. Too bad this game has mutliplayer but not ONLINE multiplayer. You know, just have someone jump into your game for a while.

So, I stopped playing Phantom Brave. I kind of forgot I even had it. :|
I've been too busy this week, but I managed to grab 3 used games that I've been playing whenever I had time:

Super Mario Kart Wii (Had a save file already since I rented it a long time ago) Just finished the Mirror Cup, with 3 shameful silver trophies and 5 gold. Still missing like 5 characters.

No More Heroes: Got the first one... it reminds me of Kill Bill. :XD I'm already ranked 9, and I will probably be mowing some lawn to get the money fot the next battle.

Lego Batman: I've always heard the lego games were pretty fun, but they pretty much were the same (sxcept trading Star War character for Indie Jones/Batman characters)
I thought I'd enjoy playing as Batman characters more than Star Wars so, and I had a free game if I bought two used games so I picked this up too.
I like it's focus on exploration and unlocking characters to fully get everything in each mission. So far I've only finished one Hero episode and one Villain episode.

My brother and I have been going on an Advance Wars craze. We are beating every one of the game (which we have had for years).

I also spent 6 hours on Thursday completely beating Castlevania: Symphony of the Night by memory (That includes almost an hour farming Schmoos for the Crissaegrim, even with a Ring of Arcana, all of the Alucart equipment, and many Luck Potions). I swear, I might have beaten that game more than Lufia.
