Here's something interesting I found while checking out yahoo. Apparently according to a study, your sleep position at night can determine what kind of personality you have. So what are you?

I'm a freefaller. Stomach sleeper all the way.

I read that two hours ago. And I'm a fetus and a soldier... and a yearner.

Fetus position - A whopping 41% of participants sleep in this curled-up manner. Women are twice as likely to rest like this and it is listed as the most common position. These sleepers are said to have a tough exterior but are still sensitive and may appear to be shy but warm up quickly.

I guess I'm a fetus/yerner.

I'm a big log. Don't usually have my arms completely at my side, but definitely not the yearner position. I'm not exactly social though, easy going yeah, and trusting to a certain extent.

And I would fall into the freefall possition. And I would think I am part of the minority, but check the poll at the bottom of the page. The results don't quite match up with the article.

Well, the original experiment was on Brits alone.

As a side note, I'm not surprised at all that the poll is showing high levels of fetus and freefall. Those are two very common personalities you'd see on the internet associated with them. At the same time, not surprised there's very few logs.

I AM surprised that there isn't significantly more starfish.

Let's see... I mostly sleep in the soldier and freefaller positions, but I match the personality traits of every one on the list except starfish. So I'm a little bit skeptical in the relations.

my sleeping position wasn't even on there. I sleep in a similar fashion to the log, but I always have both of my arms under my pillow...

i'm cancer ... i mean ... well, i tend to sleep in all of those positions =S maybe except yearner and log.

i am a cacoon sleeper. thats like the fetus thing but the only thing uncovered is my nose. i need to be wraped tightly at night to get maximum heat savings from my blankets.

sez seams to be a starfish quite often but does some of the other sleep positions too.

Just as long as "log" doesn't mean some stupid combination of a lion and a dog.
