Soooo, did anybody else want to brutally murder Vanilla?
YES.
Her incessant sighing and moaning sound like she's constantly orgasmic. Seriously - it's like she derives sexual pleasure from sitting down, standing up, or breathing.
Well, I guess we already know who the resident Yuffie/Selphie/Rikku of the game is.
Yeah, for a minute there I wondered if I had just imagined that her voice had radically shifted after just a few scenes.
I really like how Hope unmistakeably pulled a weapon out of his ass just before the first fight he was involved in, too. Seriously, I really want to know when he had picked that thing up.

I really can't understand why Lightning is acting like she has chronic PMS (not an intended shot at you, Sumi, whataface). She's like a female Cloud/Squall, only she illustrates the fact that something's always grinding her butt by blaming all of her problems on somebody else.
I guess it basically goes like this ->
Cloud: "I don't care." Squall: "Whatever." Lightning: "It's all your fault."
....
Shadow: "I do whatever I please."

Okay, well, it took a while. But, I'm finally 100% finished this game.
(Can finally return the ps3 to my roommate -_-)
Total time: 090:26:30
If any of you are going for completion, here are the strats I used for beating/5 starring some of the hardest fights in the game. Spoilered if you'd rather figure it out yourself. Also, I spent a great deal of time figuring out what all the translated names are for this sh*t. Be grateful.
Universal information: all characters had all Crystariums maxed for these. Paradigms are written in the order the team is listed.
Mission 62
Team:
Fang --- Kain's Lance* (Stagger Lock) Kaiser Knuckles* Power Glove* Genji Glove Witch's Bracelet*
Start with Fortisol/Aegisol and in Rav/Rav/Rav. Eat the first set of multicasts while pummeling with three ravagers on one of the mobs. All the rest of the multicasts until the first mob dies, you'll have to shift into sent/sent/sent. Before it staggers, pop into com/med/med (the reason I had stagger lock on Fang) and heal up. Soon as you're healed, hit Rav/Rav/Rav and push it into stagger. Switch to com/rav/com and back to rav/rav/rav, repeating this cycle, until the chain percent is at something like 700+, at which point start cycling the two com/rav/com repeatadly. Right before stagger ends, hit it with a Highwind for (if you're pretty well off) the kill.
Pop into Com/Med/Med, heal up, then go into Sab/Syn/Syn to rebuff and debuff, then repeat the process on the second mob. You shouldn't need to use sent/sent/sent anymore. Basically, you need to be very quick with your paradigm shifts for this fight.
Fortisol/Aegisol. Start the fight in Sab/Sab/Sab. Debuff the living hell out of him. Stay in Sab/Sab/Sab unless someone is about to die until poison is up on him. Soon as it is, shift into Com/Med/Rav and beat on him for a bit. You won't get much done for the first few rounds.
Eventually he will start spending more time without his shield up, so you'll be able to get him staggered. When he is, don't even bother trying to build it for more than 1 cycle of attacks. Bump his chain as high as you can in one turn, and then throw up a Highwind.
When he shields, shift into Med/Med/Med and heal. Then shift into Syn/Syn/Syn and rebuff. Before he comes out of his shield, shift into Sab/Sab/Sab and be ready with a full set of Dispels ready to cast. After he's debuffed, shift back into Com/Med/Rav and carry on as normal.
Be vary attentive to what abilities he is using. As long as you're debuffing as soon as his shield drops, his usual abilities shouldn't be a problem, more just a nuisance. But he has one, Wicked Whirl, that will kill you if you don't shift into Sent/Sent/Sent. You get very little warning that he's casting this before you start taking damage, so be careful.
You have to be, again, very quick with your paradigm shifts. He can pump out more damage in a short period of time than any boss so far if you let him. As I'm sure you guessed, he eventually starts spending longer and longer without his shield up (he takes no damage and you can't build chain at a decent rate) and shield time is the only time you're focusing on healing. If you want the 5 star, you have to do it that way. So, make sure you make good use of sent/sent/sent.

This fight just takes a shitload of pre-fight preparation. I did it before 5 starring the two fights above, so I had spent a lot of time farming components for upgrading my gear. The gear I used for this was, then, used for five starring all the missions.
Fortisol/Aegisol. Start out in Sent/Sent/Sent and eat the Ultima. Right after the damage hits, switch to Med/Med/Med and heal up. Immediately switch to Rav/Rav/Rav and beat up one of the legs. Switch to Sent/Sent/Sent and back to what you were for EVERYTHING, including his ground stomps. Be quick about it, you have no com to slow down the chain percent's fall. Do not stop beating up the leg until it staggers. When it does, quickly switch to med/med/med and heal to full (you will have time). Hop back into rav/rav/rav and get the percent to 999, and then drop a Highwind.
Repeat the process for the second leg.
When the boss falls to the ground, hop into Sab/Syn/Sab and begin debuffing. Hope should get an enfire (or any other elemental attack) up on you and Lightning before you're done debuffing. When all the debuffs are up (poison included), go into Rav/Rav/Rav and push him hard. Once he staggers, start cycling Rav/Rav/Rav and Com/Rav/Com until he hits 999, and then start cycling the two Com/Rav/Coms. Right as stagger ends, drop a highwind. The boss should be at about 50%.
Switch back to rav/rav/rav and see if you can squeeze in another stagger. If you can, drop a highwind immediately, as he'll be getting up shortly and you'll be eating a few successive quakes and ultimas. When he gets up, summon Bahamut and switch into Sab/Syn/Sab. Debuff the hell out of the boss again, and push the percent as high as you can before Bahamut goes away. (DO NOT GESTALT, DO NOT STAGGER.)
Right before Bahamut leaves, hop back into Sab/Syn/Sab (if you weren't already) and wait for Hope to buff you all with haste (don't wait for anything else, AI will always do haste first). If you had Gui's percent at 90-95% of stagger percent, you should have time for this. Switch to Rav/Rav/Rav and stagger him, and then do the same stagger cycle as mentioned above.
If he lives through this second knockdown (and, quite possibly 4th stagger)... you'll have to either go back to grinding gear/crystarium, or waste an Elixir to summon Bahamut again. I killed him on the 3rd stagger.
Spartacus (Attacus)

Fang --- Kain's Lance* (Stagger Lock) Kaiser Knuckles* Power Glove* Power Glove* Power Glove*
Those paradigms are not a joke. Start out with Fortisol/Aegisol and on sab/sab/sab. Debuff him with deprotect/deshell/slow and then pop into rav/rav/rav. Cycle that with the other rav/rav/rav until you get to 400% and then switch to the com/com/com.
Every time someone needs a heal, pop into med/med/med. Afterward, pop into syn/syn/syn to throw up the buffs he has cleared off you. As soon as any debuffs fall off him, pop into sab/sab/sab and throw them back up.
After hitting that 400% mark, you won't need either of the rav paradigms anymore. Just stick to com/com/com, healing, debuffing, and buffing as necessary.
The idea was for this fight to be really hard - he hits like a truck, so most people carry along a sentinel paradigm. I didn't. This took just over 4 minutes, and after a while it became a pretty simple pattern. com/com/com until someone drops below 10k, shift to med/med/med to heal, syn/syn/syn to pick the buffs back up, and then back to com/com/com. sab/sab/sab as necessary. That's it. Over before you know it. Much more painless this way than other people seem to make it out to be.
If you need help with any other fights, let me know. I may be able to remember how I dealt with it.
