I unlocked the last character.
Now I need to earn enough money to buy every alt color and gallery profile of every character (and unlock most of the alt colors by beating the game with the rest of the characters)

I actually need to pick a team and try to master them. I still play like a n00b. (And I'm afaid to play online)

That's IF you can get online AND not lag as if you were on 45k... freaking Wii online is ANUS.

On Mana Khemia, I'm on the next to last chapter in the game... and over-all I found it to be a very interesting RPG to say the least. They tried a good deal of new things in the way of battle and leveling up and it worked out real well. Thanks to Kajak for recommending it.

I also went ahead and finally bought Splosion Man... which is only 5 bucks till the end of this week (end of today, actually). And I've heard many different things about the game about how good it is. Some people say it's similar to how Sonic plays... I found it to be a bit different myself. If I had to compare it to any other platformer, it would be the closest match to the original Donkey Kong Country. Just play it and you'll know what I'm talking about. You might as well be passing from barrel to barrel to get though each stage. But yeah, I'm really enjoying it.

I'm finally getting back to my Parasite Eve 2 LP. I was kind of waiting on SK so we could finish it, but he wanted to drop out, so I'm pumping out videos quite often now. I haven't LP'd in quite some time, and I've grown quite used to being infront of a mic. I still hate my voice though.

Other than that, I'll probably be starting Dragon Age: Origions soon. My fiance is at the final area and as soon as she beats it, I'm going to start my own file. Oh, and I still get on L4D2 every now and then. We had the most uber epic... and uber fail moment ever in L4D history... Though the setup takes a while so I'll spoiler it.
Okay, so if you aren't familiar with Left 4 Dead 2, on the final map for Swamp Fever, you have to fight a total of THREE tanks before the rescue boat comes (one at one point, and then the other two at the same time right before you leave). We (Ix, SK, and I) have been trying for a good long while and were kind of getting a bit fed up with it. We thought we'd give it one last go. So, we get set up and in our corner. First tank comes after a huge horde of zombies. we manage to get it on fire and survive that tank with all 4 survivors. Second wave comes and it wasn't too bad. The AI had a bit of trouble figuring out what the hell it wanted to do and was running away from us at times (wft, right?). Anyways, the pair of takes come. We have no molitoves so we have to rely on gas cans. We were only able to get one tank on fire. While trying to just stay away from the one on fire, SK got caught and died at the hands of the one that wasn't. Then the one on fire dies. The other tank starts chaising the AI. It's at this point that I would like to point out that SK was rather bitter at this point for dying. You could here in his voice how bad he wanted to live. Luckly, I ran across a defibulator unit, and to his surpize, brought him back to life. All three of us (the AI is now very dead... like cadaverific dead) went to the gate that is suppose to open in hopes that we can kill the tank before he reaches us... and somehow we do. Though ANOTHER tank immediately spawned. We and right as he started making a b-line for us, the gates open... our boat just right there for us to get on. So it became a mad dash to get to it. And what's worse, there's a little patch of water before the boat which slows your runnign speed down a good deal. Unfortunately, this was Ix's undoing as he fell to the hands of the tank. SK and I, however, made it. It was quite the victory for SK as he was by all means, supposed to be dead.

As for the epic fail, we were on the Parish. Again, we were having a horribly hard time. It was around the 3rd map. There's this one area with a lot of cars just piled up randomly... which makes it hard to navigate through. What's worse is that some of the cars have active car alarms which, if sounded, summon a horde of zombies. What's even worse than that is that we've been getting tanks just about ever time we got there. Well, we had finally gotten there, beaten the tank, and were doing quite well. All we had to do was just climb up a ladder and there would be med packs, pills, and adrenaline in a ambulance just attop said ladder. So... the AI was dead, SK had the only med pack, I was on black and white (which means if you go down another time, you are cadaverific dead instead of just incapacitated), Ix was still in green health, and SK was horribly low, but not black and white. So... SK starts healing me. If he gets off this heal, both Ix and I will be on great health and SK was going to be able to heal as soon as we get up on the ladder. No problem, right? Well, not even HALF A SECOND before SK was going to be finished healing me, a charger fell down the ladder and in ONE SWING incapped SK and completely killed me. And then immediately turned towards Ix and caught him. With us down, there was no one to save him and he died... and we lost.

Had he finished that heal just before, only SK would have been incapped, and Ix and I could easily handle the charger even if he got someone. We would have then picked SK up and continued. It's it amazing how different the scenario was based on such a short ammount of time? Like seriously, less then half a second.

I finally beat Mass Effect 2 last night, total play time so far, 42 hours... I've been to every star cluster, and every planet, and done every sidequest that I can find. All that's left is to finish purchasing all the armor and upgrade schematics, and then farm minerals to get the upgrades.

Finished No More Heroes 2. Disappointing, somewhat. They fixed some annoying problems with the first game, but added new ones. They have some fun new features, but removed others. And it didn't really resolve anything, so it's like, "Why did I waste my time?".

Anyway, now I need a new game to get hooked on. Me and my buddy have been playing Borderlands for a long while now. I'm only a casual fan, but my friend loves it. It's online co-op, so maybe someone here at the mag should give it a whirl and play it with your little online gaming group.

I'm still waiting for Heavy Rain to come out. But since my friend owns the PS3 and is eagerly awaiting Final Fantasy 13, I won't have much playtime until he hoards the system for himself. Oh well. Will probably have to get my own system sometime.

I finished No More Heroes 2 and found it awesome.

It's a game that you have to look at from different angles. And what part didn't they resolve? Spoiler tag it and I'll try to answer.

Beat the main story of Winterbottom on XBLA. It is basically an easy Braid. I still need to do the challenges to finish getting 200 on it. I am now playing Cloning Clyde for XBLA. I am really liking NinjaBee's games. I will either get Outpost Kolokai (spelling) next or try Band of Bugs. I am really looking forward to World of Keflings and Perfect Dark. Also gonna go back and 'Splode the single player mode here and there.

I bought flOw the day it was out... I was one of the guys who played the old flash vesrion back in the day and thought it was great. The PS3 version was TOO similar to the flash version... which didn't really age well with time. I dunno.

So, I beat everything on my previous post: Mana Khemia, 'Splosion Man, Parasite Eve 2, and Dragon Age: Origins. And for the pace I'm keeping for myself, you'd think I'd be knocking out that list of games I need play though, but I'll be damned if they aren't just pumping out new titles, left and right. As such, Bioshock 2 is next on the list. I was pretty pleased with the first one, and that's saying something as I'm not really a FPS fan. I'll be playing it along side SK over live, since there's no storyline co-op... only multiplayer.

I WAS going to be playing Dante's Inferno, but I've heard way too many bad things about it. The most persuasive argument I heard is that the combat is a joke. And that was coming from guys who enjoyed the ever loving hell out of Bayonetta's combat, just like me. Anyways, there's enough on my plate game-wise at the moment. If ever I run out, I may turn to it.

Anyways, after competing all those games, I have a few things to say about them. Mana Khemia... awesome, go play it if you haven't. 'Splosion Man was a good deal of fun, specially playing with other Mangonians. And the credits are just about on par with Portal... no lie. Dragon Age? I'm actually quite dissapointed. The game's battle system I just could not get into for the life of me. And also, the game had some SERIOUS bugs in it. TWICE I had to reset the game due to game breaking glitches. And then there were a number of other glitches that were present but at least not game breaking. I will say this though: The game had a wonderful ending. And the story the whole way through was moderately interesting.

I just beat Final Fantasy IX, which before this time I probably had not played in nearly four years. And while he got me at the last minute (I know I almost had him!) on my first try, I totally made Necron my b**** on the second attempt. :rockon ... I had almost forgotten how truly great the ending to this game is. I am keeping this save file in order to try my hand at the chocobo sidequests for the first time ever at some point down the road. I remember becoming a master of chocobo knowledge in Final Fantasy VII way back in the day, so why not try it in FFIX as well, I guess?

Once work is over for the week, I shall be hitting up Bioshock 2 at long last, and it will be SK the Protector of the Loli to the rescue once again.

See? Just like this ->

I like the chocobo side quests in FFIX, especially since they allow you to get Zidane's best weapon.

Final Fantasy: Dissidia - This is basically my weekend game. I have been mainly a Terra user (since she is a pure mage in Dissidia) and after beating most of the story modes, I have tried a few different characters. I was indifferent to the FFVII crew but now, Cloud and Sephy are become my faves too..

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom - I'm on the process of buying all the alternate colors. After playing so many games with Morrigan in it, I'm surprised this is the first one where I'm actually maining her (along with Ippatsuman)
One of the things I'm enjoying the most is The Extra Game. This is a shooters game in which your score determines the difficulty of the next stage. I'm trying to beat the hardest one, but I haven't been able to.
I also find amusing that among the 4 playable characters in the Ultimate all star shooter, Ryu is one of them. His Hadoken might be the slowest normal attack (compared to the other 3 characters), but I find it's also the most powerful.

Dissidia? So do you have a PSP or are you borrowing one? Cuz Phantasy Star Portable 2 is near! (I hope...)

No.. not yet. It's a weekend game, because I'm off on weekends and my brother lends me his PSP while he works (and if I don't have anything to do) My current jobs likes to skip a payday, and I have had to bee very careful with my money to survive while I wait for the next one (Hopefully, I'll start a new job next month. Yay!)

Cool good luck with the new job

I got a full 200 in Cloning Clyde and now Megan and I did some work on 'Splosion Man for her benefit. I just reached the third set in single player. Faeus and I are working on Borderlands DLC tonight. That should boost my score.

I recently picked up another 360 on ebay for $40 free shipping. Just needs a new DVD drive ($26) so looking forward to that. I will either put it in my bedroom as a video streaming device, or give it to my brother. Don't know yet.

I'm currently playing FF8, trying to see what it's like playing with the idea that Squall dies at the end of disc 1. I just got finished with disc 1, and have barely started disc 2, but I can already tell things seem really strange after reading that article.

So, I've been playing Bioshock 2... and I'm digging it alright. Once again, they made the underwater city of Rapture FEEL very much so. I really like walking around and checking out everything. This is one of the few FPSs where you get the feeling you are actually where the setting is. Though I don't think I like the plot progression as much as I did the first. Ah well.

Also, the dude who lives above me just pushed Dante's Inferno on me. I beat it in two sittings. Horribly short, and it really wasn't as good as I was expecting... which wasn't much to begin with. The combat really did kind of suck. The storyline was pretty crappy, and a lot of the game was overly frustrating... and not because of difficulty, but becasue of the layout of some of the puzzles and stuff. It wasn't a matter of not figuring it out as it was just DOING it. But anyways, I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

Perfect Dark is due out soon, can't wait.

I beat Bioshock 2 yesterday. Surprisingly did not take long at all for me of all people to do it, but,
through the power of love and self-sacrifice, Eleanor and I have escaped Rapture and the clutches of the evil Sofia Lamb at long last, together!
