So you know the board rules on top of every sub-forum? I was tired of seeing that on my little development forum, and tried to delete it. And I did manage to delete the big, first post for some reason, and not the second. Then I realized that particular topic is an announcement for every sub-forum.

Oops.

Someone might want to fix that.

What the hell are you goin' around tryin' ta delete important stickies for? Before ya did that, ya should've asked if there was a way to remove it from your sub forum.

Well, that's an interesting glitch. A Dev Studio owner shouldn't have the ability to delete those posts. And I checked, I don't. However, it seems that going into that topic from the subforum you have power in enables you to modify those announcement posts. Sounds like something to report to the phpBB folks.

In the meantime, I hope you backed those rules up, Cheese.

If either Lantis or Ix has a backup of the server's databases, you're looking for post ID 32110, or topic ID 32.

I checked the entire database on the server and am not capable of recovering it.

If you can't find it, I'll also happily dig through it if it gets sent my way. Unless by chance we have the rules, specifically, backed up.

In the little studio sub-forum, I still get the option to delete them. Might want to change that as well.
