Alicia and Sophie make their way into the sewers, on their way to the communications tower on the north island. What a coincidence, Robert's in the sewers, too! But is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Do enemies really focus on the characters in the front more than that back? And if so, that sucks for me, 'cause if you mess around with the order of the characters in my game before a certain point, it'll mess up scene transistion and you'll have more than one character and a missing one. I really wish you could disable that.

It's been a while since I tested with RPGM1, but I think that's how it generally is with RPGs with this sort of battle system. Or else, why would they allow the player to change party order?

Hey guys, you aware of the new "Project Pages" feature over at RPG Maker Pavilion? Apparently Valk's trying to take the Pav in a new direction, and that involves giving big projects their own mini-sites to leech off the main site. You SO are correct! Did you catch it mentioned in the credits, or have you just used it enough to know the songs well?

Actually, as soon as the episoded ended, I went ahead and replied before I'd forget. So yeah, it was just from listening to the OST for RT4 so much.

So upon backtracking, I discovered that the game actually does contain subquests. So here I tackle an optional boss, in what is undoubtedly my shortest LPisode, yet!

I completely missed that... and if it was for a 1 time only revive all item, then it's not really worth it. If the item doesn't break ever, then yeah, it's all good... and also very broken. But whatever.

It's infinate use. And it's not that broken. Not when you remember that party members are only revived with 1HP.

I guess you are right. The most use it could get is reviving 3 people at once... and if the person who used it has too high of speed, the enemy will have a turn next and just put them right back down.

But still, infinate revives still sound a little broken. I mean, IV's are now useless.

That's probably why the boss was optional.

At last, we've reached the communications tower. It's a long way up to the top. During our visit, we see some old friends, and encounter a few new enemies. Or rather, a bunch of new enemies. Xisthruos went to town with Anime Maker.

You made a comment in minisode B about how you wish RPG Maker should handle game overs like Dragon Quest or Mario RPG. And while I made a comment about it in the vid, I thought I'd just go ahead and post here as well... because it's actually quite possible with battle systems like this (as in, no-random encounter... meaning you could use this too in the game-we-do-not-speak-of).

Remember that forced game over concept I did? Well, when you touch an enemy, instead of just selecting battle, go to 2-way choise, and set it to Win/Lose. If you lose, you won't game over and have to load from last save. Instead you can move location back to a save point or the world map. That way, all the experience you gain is still with you.
