So, here's a rpgm1 question.

If I have my game switch to a new scenario data, will the switches be turned off, or will they be in the same position as the previous scenario?

They are the same as the previous scenario. They stay on until they are turned off. This is great for when you are finished with events on one card and you make it so that players can't access those areas again. Just clear the event data on that card, turn off the non-important switches, and boom.

The only problem with this is that if you start playtesting a second scenario, all the switches will be off, even if you had played and finished the previous scenario. This makes it horribly difficult to propperly test.

I get around that by naming all the scenario datas the same (keeping a good eye on which one is which), save a test play at the end of one card, then load it up for the next.

I have my own way around it as well... though it's not really practical. But it works. Also it allows me to load up any sceneario at any time in any order and it'll work propperly.
