Yep, it's that time of year again. That one holiday that I refuse to let die. The one time of the year that's a gamer's Christmas.... Wintereenmas!

As before, if you are unsure of what Wintereenmas is, it's a celebration of video games and the people that play them. Video games allow us to do things, go places, see stuff, that we couldn't do in real life. They can be an escape from reality, a release after a long day, a fun activity with friends, or just an enjoyable way to pass time. They give us a lot of entertainment. So why shouldn't they be celebrated?

Winter-een-mas lasts for a whole week, which is always the very last week in January, the 25th through the 31st. The entire month of January constitutes the Winter-een-mas season, very similar to the "christmas season", where people begin to gear up for the holiday, and get into the spirit of things.

So... what are YOU playing this season?

Entire Half-Life 2 series (mainly cheevo hunting)
Dragon Age Origins
Darksiders
Bayonetta (mainly trophy hunting)
Mana Khemia (psp)
And a little Left 4 Dead

Hopefully though Perfect Dark 64 for XBLA will actually release durring Wintereenmas... it would be the best present ever.

Just Mass Effect 2 for me. Getting it today.

I really should finish DA:O, but I'd rather spend my limited gaming time with ME2. And I'm still miffed about there being no gay-romance option for Alistair. "Have you ever licked a lamp-post is winter?" - come on, if that's not gay, I don't know what is.

I'll be playing Star Ocean 2 mainly. Don't have time to play all the time.

I'll be busy, but at least I'm getting a bit of work into my game.
