Thanks - I had been feeling off all day, and when I read that, at the sight of a giant pork burrito with sour creme (my dinner), I heaved my guts out. Really.

Well - I just got back from a five hour stay in the emergency room. After I finished vomiting, I passed out several times - thought I was dying. I never even ate anything today.

I had no idea what I was saying or doing, I was delirious. My family said that I mostly talked about Egypt, complained about college, and lamented being underpaid by the district. Yet I was still able to correctly explain all the abbreviations and technical details of the diagnostic devices to my family. And somehow I got onto the subject of cervixes... Yeah. >_>

Those EKG probes really stick well to chest hair. Of course I was coherent for that part. Ouch.

All the tests came back negative. Which means I still don't know what's wrong with me. Naturally this worries me since my father has an inheritable disease, similar to MS, which requires a twenty-some-odd thousand dollar genetic screening. Having no medical insurance, that test isn't going to happen any time soon.

So if I should ever disappear for a while, you know what happened to me.

This does seem like a rather bad situation for you, Thutmose. I will pray on your behalf. *humbly bows low*

But, if all else fails, you can always come to me and I will endeavor to exorcise you of the demon who causes you this unidentifiable malady, because, if you did not already know, I am the resident "protector" type of person around these forums, so I do things like that, ... at no charge, too! ^_^

(Just to make sure you knew, that last part was just a deliberately half-hearted joke, you know, to possibly raise your spirits.)

I'll be praying, too.

Hope you're able to find the diagnosis soon.

I really hate to hear that. Though I don't think those are symtoms of MS. I'm not sure if you are a religious man, but you have my prayers never the less.

Wow, that sounds really bad. I hope everything turns out alright. Add my prayers to the rest too.

I have added my prayers to the others to form a Super-Prayer. May it have the power to stop Meteor.

For real, hope you'll be alright.

I'm not religious (which is no doubt why the two nuns in my family are also praying for me), but thak you all for the gesture.

That made me smile. :)

I'm feeling a bit better now, after 12 or 13 hours sleep. I still haven't eaten anything so I'm going to go do that, now.

Thanks again for your concern.

One does not have to be religious for prayers to work for them. (But that is another topic)

Yeah. A completely 'nother topic that would be a bad idea. I have no interest in seeing a flame war about religion, here. :P

Just got back - I need to have a bunch of tests done this Thursday, and should have some results back within a week or so.

The doctor couldn't figure out what's wrong, and had never seen this before. Hopefully the tests will shed some light on it.

I, to this day, have some strange heart condition that a number of doctors have yet been able to diagnose. Back then, I could lay on my left side, and you could actually HEAR my heart beating. The doctors thought it was mitral valve prolapse or at least some varriant of it. They said I'd eventually grow out of it... but even to this day, I feel strange pressures where my heart is. Sometimes it's when I'm laying down, and sometimes it just happens randomly when I'm sitting or standing (mostly when I lay down). Since then I've taught myself not to lay on my left side... ever. And I still get a bit weirded out when I feel it.

I don't like not knowing for sure what's happening to me... and I hope this kind of situtation doesn't happen to you.

Thanks guys. Eighteen or so hours of sleep was nice.

I wonder what kind of inner-turmoil an arachnophobe would experience if he turned into Spider Man? :P
