Yup. Certainly not the first time it's been an option in the series, but in this one it's apparently a key role, instead of an unlockable feature.

I got to see the live preview on Stickam with a bunch of other spam-happy Mega Man fans and what they showed was very good. I especially liked
the sand stage. However, most are complaining about the new easy mode which I guess is directed towards casual gamers. Bring it on, Commando Man.

They're complaining about an optional feature. Easy Mode is not the default mode.

It's not like we'll be FORCED to play easy mode. (That reminds me, Mega Man Legend's easy mode was unlocked after beating Hard mode. What's up with that?) I suck at Mega Man games and I don't plan on using it.
