Apparently many of the typos in the last LPisode was because WMM has decided that it doesn't like ending sentences with punctuation marks...

It's the first dungeon of the game, as we try to find our way out of the zombie-infested police station. And the task is not as simple as one might think.

I decided to try mixing up with the battles, editing some out while speeding through others. Lemme know if it works.

You know, Dray... you are right. This is an example of a 'good' RPG Maker made RPG. Specially if it keeps things going the way it is now for 6 more cards.

Well, the game has its ups and downs (and the downs are gonna stand out a lot), but there's a reason this is my favorite RPGM-made game.

And this is the part where I start encouraging others to play the game. I only upload one or two LPisodes a week. You guys could beat the game in less than two weeks. And there are some awesome gameplay segments ahead that just won't be the same simply watching them. (PS: I already beat it.)

Actually, I'm considering delaying the next LPisode for a bit. Pavilionite member Xisthruos (the guy who created this game) hasn't hopped online recently and doesn't know I'm doing this, yet.

In LPisode 2 of this LP (the "nightmare episode"), once scene had to be edited out because my video capture went berserk. I had tried to re-record the scene, but my video capture simply did not like that screen. Along with that, the video and sound went way out of sync, so the awesome scene that took place before it was a bit less awesome than it was when I played it.

So, last night I went to Radio Shack because my mouse had died and my back-up trackball mouse sucked. And right beneath the mice (if the plural for the electronic is that), I saw a video capture worth $50. Decided to try it out. Found it works. A bit of artifacting here and there, but nothing terrible.

So, I decided to use it to re-record both scenes for you. And for your extra enjoyment, I showed how easy the first "boss" would've been had I known I could use the sniper rifle in battle. (Sorry, no commentary for this.)

Unfortunately, this new device comes a little late, as I have already recorded the entire LP. There might be scenes in the future that had technical hiccups. Whether I'll re-record them, depends on how far into the game there are.

Anyway, I couldn't help but notice that in your video desription it only had up to 9 parts listed. I'm assuming it's much lonter than that if it's going to cover 6 scenario memory cards...

I actually expected maybe 16 when I started this LP. If I recall, we actually get through a whole scenario card in a single LPisode at one point. I guarentee, though, that the game's promise of "10+ hours of gameplay" (at the Pavilion, at least) is not a lie. I'm actually adding up my save times as I go along, just to see how much of a + that was.

Or, you could, you know, download the game and find out for yourself.

I may end up doing that afterall actually. It just depends if I can pry myself away from all the fourth quarter games coming out around this time.

Anyway, considering how short some of my 15 block scenario cards are, I shouldn't really be that suprised.

The escape plan has been made. Now our heroes must traverse a vast library for supplies. Unfortunately for them, that means becoming librarians. However, for our resident dracoon, this is where the game starts picking up.

You're really hamming up Evil Otto there, aren't you? Actually, it is a little freaky. I might giffify that later, actually. But anyways, left comments on video.

I see the reason you like that effect in the library. You see the black borders around the outside of the dungeon and automatically thing that there's just not background wallpaper set. So when you run across it finally, it really pulls the effect off all the more. Though using so many black tiles in a dungeon THAT large may very well have doubled it's size in system data. Kind of sucks, but I'm glad someone's using it that way. I might try and use the same thing in some place, but it would have to be a fairly small place.

Wow, I hadn't realized that. Well now I'm even more impressed with the library!

And don't worry, I'm done with Evil Otto. He was mostly meant as a Halloween thing, but I wanted to give him one more encore. A "when you least expect it" thing.
