I'm amazed what people will wear in public. And I find it more amzing that they think it's perfectly fine.

They think its perfectly fine dependent on the fact that they are going to Walmart. Had they been on their way to Target, they would have prettied up a bit. Everyone always says, "its just Walmart."

Public is public reguardless of what store you are in, methinks.

Oh I agree, just one of those, if everyone else why the hell not me kind of things that gives people the justification they need. Much like looting and lynch mobs.

Unless it is is against the law via indecent exposure, it is perfectly fine because it is the public. Now a store like Wal-Mart might be said to be private in the sense and have a dress code. It is on them to require the public patrons to leave if there is some violation.
