It's called Canada Dry Sparkling Green Tea Ginger Ale. I started getting it last week during my small bout with the flu. Family jumped all over that stuff, man. Since it was only a buck per two liter, I went back to the store this week and purchased 4 more bottles so that the family could drink to their hearts' content. It is day 3 (I believe), and I'm just finishing off the third bottle. Have any of you tried it?

That doesn't even compare to the horrific, the dispicable thing they do in Germany. There is actually a drink called a "diesel" (also "radlers") that mixes beer and soda-pop!!!!!!!!!!

That is so wrong to both beer and soda-pop. That would be about as right as mixing a premium cigar with a snow cone. Hey, I love em both, but I just don't want to have them at the same time!

I guess I can accept your ginger ale/green tea beverage as long as a 2-liter is only a buck. If it is a dollar or less it is all good.

Beer and soda pop...

You can't stop that man. I mean, hell, how do you think coke-and-rum got conceived?

That is a good point that Coke can work with alcohol to an extant, but not with beer...ever.

I meant that yes it is true that there are alcohols out there that Coke can work with, beer just happens not to be one of them. Rum, defintely, even vodka isn't too bad and it is probably more (as Lantis suggested regarding hard liquor) that one could expect Coke to work better with something like rum where both the alcohol and taste are much more concetrated than beer.

See the thing is that when it comes to soda-pop, while I feel the best way to drink it is with ice and no alcohol, it still is good without ice or with some particular types of alcohol like rum. But beer is beer. It is not good mixed with anything other than more of itself. Ice is bad with beer, other alcohol is bad with beer.

So even if soda-pop welcomed beer (which it does not), there is no way in hell that beer will ever attend.

Now back to your ginger ale/green tea. Is it holding up or is it getting to you?

Location: Out there. In that place. You know, with the "thing"
Point 1. the germans invented beer, and they can do with it what ever the hell they want with it.

Point 2, both are fizzy and carbonated, seems like a good mix.

After all why do you think they call it Ginger ALE? ;)
