Are you going to use this one for sure or is there chance you will replace this one with a newer scratch built one. In other words are these more or less studies or are you actually trying to make the game now?

Ill be using something similar to this one, there will be like a few parts that are a tad different, but to answer you question, Yes I am working on making this a game. Don't worry I have about half a notebook full now of notes for this so its very very promising :).

This project isn't dead nor is it alive, its more like UNDEAD atm. School and work are in full force atm, so I have no time for myself even to play a console game, This game WILL be released don't get me wrong. But when? Well it could well as be in Mid march, or a Stable demo by December, more than likely it will be mid March. Keep checking for updates I may post some progress in the next few weeks.

Might want to add that people will have an easier time ignoring the crappy sound if they turn down their volume. ;)

Liking the new effect for the cursors. Looks more polished that way.

Well since this is well over due, let me give you a run down of what this will all have. Since im not entirely sure I made it clear what everything is gonna have.


Purpose:
You play as a sim from each timeline, live their lives as they probably would in their time, and a few other things that wouldn't be possible back then. Once you have reached a certain goal in each era, you will either:

A.) Choose to stay in your current era, until your ready to move on.
B.) Go on to your next era.

Once you move on to your next area, all your skills will be transferred over to your next sim. Depending on the level I may just give you a(n) extra advantage, since it is a whole new person you would be working with. Also im not entirely sure, but I may let you customize your sim each era change. It all just depends on how I do memory wise, which I honestly doubt ill use all of it up. Another thing ill TRY to do is multiple sims on the map, like how you could switch back and forth on the PS2 version with R2, it would pretty much be the same way. I suck at pathfinding, so who knows. Now lets get onto the features of what this game will have.


Features:

[X]- addded [ ]-to do


[X] Status system, check whether you need to go to the bathroom, eat, sleep, or anything else that any other person might need to do.

[ ] Marriage, much like the sims, build a relationship with someone and court and such, even for your own comical fun their will be same sex marriage if you choose.

[ ] Woo Whoo, haha if you played the sims you know what this is. If not pretty much, its Sim sex, and the way they did it was hilarious.

[ ] Active sims that visit you often, again much like the sims, your neighbors will show up in the most random times of day, knocking on your door. Its always good to keep a social life, even if its in the prehistoric times!

[ ] Jobs and Final Jobs, ah yes, possibly the most important thing about The Sims: Timeline. Each job in each era has a huge purpose for your everyday life. For example, say your a caveman in the prehistoric era, you will need to hunt for your food to eat and such. I may even let you do the job, im not entirely certain, might have a few animal lovers here that wouldn't like it =P.

[ ] Natural disasters, this is gonna be so much fun to do, pretty much Earthquake, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Riots, Plagues, Dragon attacks(Medieval times only), Dinosaur Attacks(Prehistoria only), Pirate Attacks(Colonial Only),
Ninja ambush (Feudal Japan only), Dust storms, and much much more.

One thing I must point out, this game will be either Teen, or Mature. It really all depends on a few important factors.

Alright well this is pretty much the Sims in a nutshell, if you would like any other feature, be glad and feel free to post here, im still in development so anything can be added in =).
