They're showing off the Sony Magic Wand, which can combine with the Eye Toy to make 3D sword/shooting, so on.

They're showing the demo off. It looks like a wand with a purple ball on the end. It IS a technical demo of it, so don't judge it yet.

Showing off a sword demo with it. Paint bucket, so forth. Throwing stars demo. Archery demo, too.
