You think Japanese RPGTers watch videos by us RPGMers?

Thought of this when I hopped on YouTube and an RPGT3 video popped up in the recommendations box.

I've always wondered if Japanese people have some rpgmaker database like ours.

i imagine they do look at us occasionally. there isnt a whole lot of rpg maker stuff out there now for our side though. why shouldnt they take a look and see what their counter parts are doing? i wonder if they would be impressed or disappointed?

They do not. they rely on personal sites and web rings. or message boards without actual websites attached.

it's odd, yes. but thats how they do stuff over there.

one thing i cant get over besides the creativity is the amount of detail in the custom sprites. just look at some of the space sprites. id love to be able to play through some of these games to get the whole picture.

Yeah, there sprites are amazing. Some of the level design is damn impressive too. Wish we could play them.
