I'm trying to make my game like the The Legend of Zelda for the Game Cube. I really enjoyed having to do little quests in the game. I thought that it was a nice break from talking to people and fight.

Background Information

Title : Sword of Vengeance
Software: RPG Maker 2
Synopsis: You play as Terra. She is a barmaid in the town of Saywervile. However the conflict between the Seekers and Avengers forces her to draw a cursed sword and thus starts her journey to free herself from it.

Here are some of the Quests for the Game:

Trials of Valor: In order to enter the Temple of Valor Chen Zen must receive Valor's Blessing. Do you have what it takes to uphold the life of a monk? There are five puzzles in this quest. Do you know all the virtues that a monk has to practice?

Twin Sister Witches: A small girl is sick and you need to find the last two items to make some medicine for her. Comming upon two small huts you can sense an evil spirit. The good witch has given you one of the items you need. She tells you that her evil sister has the last ingredient. However she is not willing to part with it unless you do something for her. You must enter the mushroom cave. The evil witch wants you to collect 10 red mushrooms for her. Not a big problem right? Not so fast! There are a hundred mushrooms atleast. To complicate it further some are posionous, some are monsters in disguise, and others are normal. Can you gather all the mushrooms in time to save the little girl?

Sneaking into the Princess's Ball: You need to get the scroll from the Jade Kingdom, but you must sneaking to the enemy's castle to steal a map for Queen Jade. Terra and Chen Zen must look and act like the Duke and Dutchess of Perry. Can you greet the Royal Family, survive dinner, dance, and sneak past the guards to the royal vault without getting caught?

How do these quests sound? These are all I have at the moment. I plan to have several more through out the game.

I'll be blunt. That's the worst quest idea I've ever heard.

I really like the sneaking into the ball idea. I always love games that do this and give you some silly options along the way.

I kind of had the same feeling after I came up with the mushroom quest. Well back to work on that one.
