Oh, I don't mind that you call it out. I'd like to as well. But for some reason people can seem to grasp the idea that one (or a few) word posts don't contribute to the thread other than rasing it's posts. A MEANINGFUL post says something. You know... kind of gives an opinion of something. Saying "lol" as a post doesn't mean anything. And no one really cares if you find something funny or not.

I think the best example to use is the ever common "is aight" meme that's been going around here. That's just a horrible horrible post. It gives absolutely no insite and no information about the topic at hand, it's boring and no one is really going to care one way or another. The fact that it was so rediculous is the only reason people even bring it up. But you know what? I think I just wasted the past 150 words... yay arguing with a brick wall.

Instead, I would like to substitute all this post with something more fitting to the posting habbits here:

I tried to stamp out one word posts and essentially anything that lacks some form of content that can further discussion or conversation many, many times in the past; though, I've essentially stopped trying since stepping down from HoF.

What I learned during all my endeavors:

Don't even try.

Yeah, I kind of gave up a while ago. Hence why I didn't say anything about comments like this.

But I don't want to give it up. I want to promote good posting habbits.

it's kind of just about good or bad judgement.. if someone doesn't get it. then they don't get it. and they won't unless we beat it senselessly into them with amy's hammer. you could have a little button that puts a picture of a hammer into a post so every time you find a bad post just click it and nobody can get rid of the hammer and it alerts everyone to the bad post so we can all laugh. and they can have a bunch of little hammers instead of a title so they have to have no hammers for a title to show and everyone can see how many hammers they have and hammers stay for like 6 months so you have to keep making good posts for ages before all your hammers go away but then they're still listed on your profile forever so you have to live in ridicule until you make a new account or something because you feel so ashamed of all your stupid little hammers.
