I'm not sure if my dexdrive is toast or not, since it never connects. When you plug it in, does it have a faint green light? I never noticed this until now, and I'm not sure if this is a sign or not.

Light is off when not in use. When I start up DexPlorer, it turns on, color orange. Once it reads the memory card, it turns green.

Right. But I just have a faint green and it won't connect. Anyone else have this problem? You can't really notice it unless it's dark.

The Dex Drive is a retarded piece of hardware that will decide not to work for absolutely no reason at all.

even if you get it working as soon as you connect it to your computer, and never unplug it from the computer or wall outlet, it will still randomly decide it's not connected and will not work.

Yeah, you can say that gain, Valk. Heck, I bought a brand new one and it gives me problems starting up. Luckily, whenever it reads it'll read for good until I unplug it.

And I got it to work. I followed the directions in the dexdrive's help menu. Unplug everything and plug it all in again, and lo and behold, it works like a charm.

But you know that faint green light I mentioned? It doesn't show up anymore, now that it's running fine. How weird.
