I accidentally bought Flock off PSN, it isn't bad but the level editor doesn't justify it's 15 dollar price.

I've been playing MySims Kingdom. I wanted to try it over the first one, and while I liked it, I wish I had tried the other one first. MySims kingdom is task based, and once you do them all... well... there's nothing else to do besides rebuilding stuff.

i just earned the 430k needed to buy all 3 wags in xenosaga 1. now all i have to do is tackle the final boss and i can move on to something else! over all im very satisfied with the game but i really should be focusing on others things - like my own game or the 5 new games that will be arriving soon.

Currently working on "professional mode" in RE5, need four more characters for The Mercenaries. Finishing up The Last Remnant, and playing RE:CodeVX over again for fun.

My copy of Civilization:Colonization needs to hurry up and arrive.

I just beat Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon.

The endgame came so suddenly, with so little fanfare, I was like "huh, I'm done?".

Still, it's Fire Emblem, so I loved it.

Wait, is that the "if you take damage you go into dying statis reguardless of health and dying status drains twice as quickly" mode?

Four games have really been taking up all of my time lately. I've been playing a crap load of Left 4 Dead with the guys seeing as the new downloadable content came out. Also we are trying to get the only achievement we don't have yet, which is damn near impossible. Also, SK got his live account going, so we are helping out with his achievements too.

Speaking of SK, he and I are still working on playing every Zelda title to date. We are working on Windwaker, and all that's left after that is Phantom Hourglass. We will be playing though Twilight Princess as well seeing as SK hasn't gone through it yet, but for me I'll be able to say I've played through every Zelda game after Hourglass... assuming Spirit Tracks doesn't come out before then. While
I'm thinking about it, I was REALLY enjoying Windwaker until we finished the last dungeon before what seems to be Zelda trying to be as Dragon Quest as possible. Here's what I mean (btw, slight spoiler ahead): After you beat the last dungeon to power up your sword, you need the tri-force of courage before you can head to the final section of the game. But just like the very first Zelda, it's in 8 pieces and you need to fetch them. Well, the thing is... they are under the vast sea randomly. When you find one, you have to fish it out... which honestly isn't that easy. The marker dissapears for it whenever you get close. So you can spend a good amount of time just sitting there inching your way across a small patch of water till you actually grab it. But what's worse than that is that you can't find the locations to the pieces without a chart to it. So on top of finding 8 pieces of tri-force... you need to first find the 8 charts to each piece. What's worse than that is that you can't even read the charts once you get them, you have to have someone translate them for you. What's worse than that is that to get some of these charts require a sh*t load of work. Like seriously... WAY too much work. I even needed to find a chart, to find the chart, to find the tri-force piece. That's way too much like Dragon Quest, and honestly this sucks. What was an awesome game just became... okay. Anyways, moving on.

Also been playing a good deal of Resident Evil 5 still. Just finished hard mode last night with Ix. I've managed to also collect and max out every weapon in the game. Now I need to run through the game in under 5 hours to unlock some stuff, collect all the BSAA amulets and all treasure items, and then attempt Pro mode. Yes, the same pro mode that I mentioned right above this double post. I'm I'm absolutely head over heels for this game. I'll probably be playing it even after beating pro mode. Also this is the first game I expect to get 1000 achievement points for. I know with the DLC it could be a possible 1200, but the DLC just doesn't seem worth while to me.

lastly, I've finally gotten around to playing me some Mother 3. I can't believe how long it took me to finally get around to this game. I mean, I knew it would be good. But it wasn't around till this time in the game:
Image
...that I realized how much fun I was having with it (btw, that's not an actual screen shot from my game. There's NO WAY I'd be able to grind that much HP by that point in the game. Everyone is closer to like 200). It's Earthbound through and through. It took everything Earthbound was and improved on it. The battle has a good bit of new features and I really like the changes. So next time you feel like playing Mother or Earthbound, instead play Mother 3. Trust me, it's worth it.

I am also playing Wind Waker Lantis (For a second time) and I just got to the triforce part as well. It doesn't help that I have absolutely no rupees to pay tingle with.

And I'm ashamed you just got around to playing Mother 3 Lantis. While it is an awesome game, and has a much more in depth story than Earhbound, I still enjoy Earthbound more because it was the original for me.

I agree. Mother 3's story is much more deep specially with how it starts off. I remember thinking out loud, "wait... that's not funny at all. In fact, that's down right horrible. Mother and Earthbound were funny. Zomg!" *brain explodes* But yeah, I still like Earthbound better.

just got soul crushed in vagrant story. i beat the same tedious boss twice only to get my ass handed to me by a slime on the way to the save point. the game is so brutal, i dont know if i want to even continue.

battle tactics is also a semi blow out. the battles are difficult and the primitive gameplay make it difficult to get into the game. if every unit didnt feel so damn generic and bland i may actually enjoy it. ill try to beat it for the plot.

last but not least im trying to get the last two games of xenosaga. i really enjoyed the first and want to finish the series off. its damn impossible to find a copy of either game anywhere other then ebay. ive already blown enough online and i have a gift card so id like to try to find it in eb games. been to three so far and no luck what so ever. i think ill have to just buy it online.

Finished Windwaker with SK and we've started Phantom Hourglass (I wish I could walk with the D-pad. Walking any direction between west and north means I practically can't see due to my hand being all up in the screen guiding link with the stylus. Oh, and after finishing that STUPID Dragon Quest 8 style fetch quest in Windwaker, I think I am kind of done with that game. If I ever play it again, I may very well stop right before that part of the game. It's seriously THAT bad. But even with such a blatenly bad section of the game, the rest of the game is okay.

Still Left 4 Deading it up. In fact, I'm L4Ding it up when I should be playing Mother 3 and RE5. I've also started Pro Mode. Ix and I are on chapter 3 (right after the Ndesu fight). And I also picked up Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero. It's crazy seeing sprites and characters from a series of RPGs now in a platformer. And it's hard as hell... but fun.

Finished up Persona 3: FES...wow....it's actually over? The feeling of it being all over hasn't quite hit....the last boss was a bit easy on the Answer, so I kept wondering when I'd fight the real end boss. But alas, the final boss was a little easy. Not to say the game was easy; many, many game over screens and many weeks of not playing after frustration took over.

But hey, I loved it all the same, and it was a great way to spend 110 hours of my life.

I'll still be waiting for Atlus to announce Persona 3: FES 2.

Now that that's done with, I have a huge backlot of games to play. I wonder which RPG I should play next. Hmm...off the top of my head there's Valkyrie Profile, Final Fantasy II and III, Chrono Trigger, Skies of Arcadia, And a couple Dragon Warrior games that still could use my attenion.

And to conclude, I play Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram every day and love this game to death.

I just picked Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 up in a hope to get my DW fix while I wait for Empires.
If anyone else was considering the same, don't.
This game sucks. It's like playing DW 2 again. All progress (sic) of the past Dynasty Warriors franchise has been siphoned out, and replaced with.... well, gundam It's been reduced to a shameless button masher (if you wouldn't have called the others that). Empires better be damn sweet or I may consider lowering my opinion of Koei slightly.
Maybe.

Also got Vin Diesel's Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Everyone Other Than Vin Diesel by Vin Diesel featuring Vin Diesel and my opinion of it is a resounding meh.
A helluva lot better than most of the other shooters out there but it's no Half Life as if anyone was expecting that.

Okay, so I got my 1000 cheevos from RE5 and I still want to play more. So if anyone out there wants cheevo help my xbox handle is Lantis02. The downloadable content really doesn't look like I'd enjoy it. In fact, even if I did get it, I'd probably just play the storyline mode more anyways. But yeah, RE5 such a good game.

I'm most the way through Mother 3. I've gotten 6 of the 8 needles, and unless there's a huge chunck of game after getting the 8th one, then I should be able to wrap it up. On thing I did notice about Mother 3 that differs from Earthbound is that they really seem to focus on a good deal of homosexuality. The 8 guardians of the needles are all cross-dressing looking men that claim not to have a gender and are overly flirty with you. And in one part of the game you walk under water, and you refill your air supply by kissing a mermaid... Oh, sorry. I men merMAN. =/ (Oh, but the dungeon after that part was great.) Overall, I really do like the game.

So now, I'm playing the last Zelda title that I've never played, and therefore am completing every Legend of Zelda title under the sun. And I'm really liking it too. In Phantom Hourglass, I'm working on getting the second spirit from the NorthWest side of the ocean. And so far I haven't had to look at a walkthrough. Which is something I find a bit amazing, because I've always needed a walkthrough to beat a zelda title for the first time. The use of the touch screen and mic really do make this game very charming, and it really makes me look forward to Spirit Tracks.

All other time not spent on those three is spend playing Left 4 Dead... still. And I still can't get that last achievement. It's impossible.

Actually Lantis, about MOTHER 3 (Major spoilers.)

The game ends after you get the eighth needle.

Had a random desire to play FF8 earlier this week.

I've only finished this game once - on that save, everything is level 100 and I've devoured enough of everything to be max stats on all my characters. It's quite disgusting.

However, every single time I've tried to play it after that, I get to the part in Balamb on disc 2 where you need to track down Seifer's left and right hand squad of dumb and dumber and decide I hate that part and quit playing. :(

I got to that part, and it happened again.

So now I'm playing FF9 instead.

If it makes you feel any better, I finished Wind Waker my first time through, but I probably won't ever be able to get past that fetch quest part without quitting ever agian.

@ Myoky - I finally beat it last night (and it was seven needles, not eight... my bad). And I was kind of dissapointed by the ended. Until I found out that you are actually suppose to walk around when "End?" is displayed on screen. When I saw end, I just stood there paitently waiting for like, credits or something. But then it took me straight back to the main menu... wtf.

And even after going through the trouble of beating the game again just so I can see the real ending, it wasn't all that great.
I mean, I liked how you find out that you really DIDN'T destroy everything and everyone's okay. And I kind of think that the logo you see of Mother 3 completely made of wood instead of the normal wood/metal hybrid from the normal menu kind of signifies that what you did will overall do well for the planet. But still, I think they could have shown that a bit better. Though the credits, themselves, were great.

I actually like how mysterious the ending is. You never know for sure that everyone is safe, and it lets you imagine what will happen to everything.

Actually, I'm a really big fan of tragic endings. So I can respect that... I just wish it has a little bit more closure and wasn't as open ended. You know, like if everyone was okay, what did they do afterwards?

Twilight Princess makes Ocarina look like the work of a squad of retarded monkeys. Yeah. BTW, If you are playing it on the GC, do your self a favor and get the Wii version. the bow and arrow are finally GOOD and easy to use. The best part for me so far is when you are in death mountain and have to shoot at ropes. There is this one set that you have to shoot at whilst hanging upside down from an electromagnetic crane.
