How much are you paying for gasoline at the pump?

When Ixzion, Deeper Kyo, and myself went to Atlanta a few weeks ago, we noticed that the prices were 30 cents cheaper than what we would pay in our home state.

Our current prices (give or take a few cents):

Regular: $1.90-$1.95
Plus: $2.08-$2.12
Premium: $2.18-$2.28

I think regular is about 54-58 cents.

^I figured. I always wondered what the difference was in liter and gallon.

Gallon= 128 ounces

Liter: 33.8 ounces

Liter to Gallon ratio= 3.78

.58 X 3.78 (Liters to a gallon)= $2.19

...Interesting.

Funny thing, it's the only instance we use the International Metric System. (For the rest, we go for pounds, inches, etc.)
But either way, when we need gas, we simply say "Give me 10 bucks of gas" so...

It's sitting around $1.80 around here in southern arkansas. Durring that gas price spike, it was up to $4.09 if I'm not mistaken.

Walking from Alabama to Texas would take me a long time and by the time I made it home, I'd have to hitch a ride back to Alabama to get moved in for another year of school.

<_< obviously over long distance the circumstances change.. but if it's a 5 minute bus ride into town, is it really worth the money? or if it's a 5 minute drive to school is it really worth it?

I walk to most of where I go now too. I work less than a block away and with in two blocks are 3 supermarkets, a Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop, 5 fast food places, 7 sit down restaurants and 1 sushi place. Hooray me.

Well, I don't really have a car, that's what I would pay if I had one.
I usually walk if it's not too far. And I hate taking the bus. I seem to get faster to whenever I want to go by walking that by waiting half an eternity for the bus to pass.

^ exactly! that's how it feels for me too. or sometimes the bus goes a crazy route that takes longer than it would to walk anyway o.O
