I'm not seeing an edit button, all I see is an "edit profile" button, which I don't think is what your talking about.

You should see it now. You're one of the people who submitted games before the new code took effect. You're straight.

Thanks that did it. Got it uploaded now.

Thanks to everyone that helped me throughout the making of this game, I wish I could of really gone all out for it, but I just couldn't do it. I cut out a tremendous amount as I continued to make the game, and it really shows I think. Overall it's nothing close to what I had envisioned when I first purchased RPGM 3 back in 06, but I'm proud of myself for actually finishing it, albeit it's story feels extremely rushed and the like.

I was way too ambitious before I even started, I wanted to make a huge 20+ hour game with all kinds of items, puzzles, sidequests, etc, but there isn't any way I have it in me to make a game of that magnitude with RPGM 3, much less one on my first attempt at a game with an rpg maker. Looking at it now, I'm glad I didn't try to go that far with it. I just don't think it's worth the trouble honestly, no offense to anyone who goes above and beyond with RPGM3, I just think the actual game mechanics are way to bland for me to enjoy a game like that on it. If I can't enjoy it, I sure as hell don't want to try and put someone through it.

No matter how much work you put into the battle system, it's still going to be slow and boring, and there's no other options available to you either, your stuck with it if you want to use battles at all. So at this point I will never make another game for RPGM3 that has any focus whatsoever on fighting battles at all. That's if I even make another game at all lol, but still. There's only one dream project that I have, and it will most likely never be made because the only rpgmaker that it would be possible on is a computer one and I just don't see myself ever messing with those.

So anything you see from me from now on will most likely be lame attempts at humor or something along those lines. Once again, thanks to everyone that helped, and I hope you don't shoot yourself from boredom if you decide to play my game.

Congratulations on your completed game! I admit, after your lengthy absences, I didn't know if you'd pull it off. So good job on that! :D

I also awarded you the 50 Mag Points that you should have gotten before.

Thanks, you'd think with as long as it took me the game would be rather huge. It's only about 4-5 hours I think lol, but yeah I'm satisfied in the fact that I at least finished it.

Haha well thanks I guess. It's really nothing special though, I'm amazed at the amount of views this topic as gotten, but anyone expecting a great masterpiece will be severely disappointed. If it were reviewed it would not score well.

So it's been awhile, was just curious to know if anyone actually liked my crappy game? That is if anyone has even finished it.

I'm willing to give it a playthrough. But my time is always eaten. You can ask Pagerron about that and my review of Daniel's Quest III. :p

Decided to drop in and give an epic 6 year bump to this topic. Haha just kidding. Wow, reading through this topic was a blast of nostalgia for me. Still can't believe this topic got so many views, and I sincerely hope none of you actually put yourselves through the tedium of attempting to play this game. I can say with confidence the game is not good lol, and the writing is generic and uninspired, but hey at least I finished it.

I'm actually considering tackling this story again, as I feel like the story I came up with has potential even to this day, but I was too young back then. I don't have the patience to mess around with another RPG Maker sadly, but lately I've become increasingly interested in attempting to write a novel. Still don't fancy myself as a good writer by any means, but with age comes wisdom (I hope) so maybe now I can come up with dialogue that is less flat and more colorful I guess I don't know.

I've already begun making adjustments to characters, the world, and thinking of new ideas. The gist of the story is still there, but with lots of differences, at least planned anyway. I mean it took me 3 years to make a short game because I would get burned out on writing and building those damn story tellers and take massive breaks, so I can imagine something similar happening while trying to write a novel. I think the advantage of trying a novel though is that it's alot easier to put ideas down though, don't have to worry about variables and modes and all that jazz.

Anyway I don't want to ramble on, thinking about revisiting this story through a novel lead me back here and I wanted to say hey. Hope you guys have been well and got fulfillment out of your projects, about the only thing I ever gained from finishing it was just the satisfaction of finishing it lol.

Hi, missed your return. Or at least I'm assuming you're returning. Always nice to see old faces again. =)
