Daylight savings is only a week away. Man, this year has gone by too fast.

Is that time of the year again? Darn it, now everything I watch on TV (both programs) will start 1 hour earlier. How inconvenient...

What? March, already? What happened to the 29th and 30th?

...What? Oh, right. February. Dang, February, you last too short.

I don't know March is about the right time to see snow in Atlanta. So the weather for this weekend was

Friday - 63/54, raining
Saturday - 63/52, raining
Sunday - 36/24, 2 inches of snow, with Thunder

First significant snowfall in a couple of years in ATL. Only really big recent snowfall (1993) was also in March.

And the forecast for this Saturday ... 71/45 sunny.

Wow, snow. I enjoy it a lot.
I miss snow. When the world is covered in varying depths of pure white, that's when you get to know the certainties you have in life.

snow... such a foreign concept to me...
I think I'd die in snow. I feel like I'm freezing when the temperature goes below 60...

Words can not express my loathing twoards losing an hour of sleep... seriously. I'm going to be in a foul mood for quite some time.

Also, please tell me what this snow is you guys keep talking about. I googled it, but I just keep see pictures of Alaska.

EDIT: Odd....my totalpost count is the same year I was born....cool.

Oops, did I just reveal my age? ;)

Location: Out there. In that place. You know, with the "thing"
I live in Maine. 71.93 inches of snow have fallen on Portland since winter "Began" (it's not uncommon for it to snow here in mid October, almost 2 months before winter "actually" starts)
Power outages here are most common between February and March. We've already had 3 since November, and one was because of an ICE STORM. (to picture this, imagine that everything you know is encased in rippling glass 1/16 or an inch thick, while rain steadily stings you in the face with sub zero water particles.)

These petty tales of winter amuse me for their naiveté .
