So, I was playing around in RPGM2, and I actually got a nice character creation system done, from there im gonna make a Sims game where you start out in a very tiny home, and as you progress through your job, you will earn a much higher income and gain a lot more houses and items to put inside your houses. This is in complete super super beta at the moment, as im not even sure its possible(of course it is just gotta be 100% sure how I want everything to work). Well here is a screen shot of the Status bars that will be seen, ill update this topic accordingly as I progress.

Very interesting. Most of those bars are self-explanitory, but was is the 'fun' bar for?

I like how professional seeming (i.e toggle and select) the customization is.

I see, this project must be more similiar to a 'sims' type of game.

I agree with Bo, I really like the layout of the menus and such. It looks very pleasing to the eye.

Goddammit man, that looks really well-done. Major props to you.
If the rest of the system is created with this much quality, you'll have an excellent vibe going for your game.

Thank you very much, right now the only thing Im having a wee problem with is pathfinding, other than that, this game is coming together quite nicely.

Image Taking an approach where the leader is the sim instead of an event like I originally planned, so best part is, no pathfinding is necessary all simple little examine events.

I really wish I had someone helping me who had the drive to get a fraction of the work you seem to. I've been working on a project since 2004. =(

Anyway, awesome work... keep up the pace.

A demo at the end of the month? What incredible progress. I'll have to pull out my computer to download this the moment it's up.

Having that much motivation is a pain my arse sometimes. A lot of the times I just want to chuck my PS2 against the wall because of flipping debugging :(. The demo will be as long as you stay alive and work, pretty much, you will be able to play at least for 30 years, a year lasts about an hour. Time goes by extremely fast and I hope, I mean HOPE, that it will all run nice and smooth, but only time will tell. The real game will take me about 8 months, since in all honesty, its user dependent, which means no story and no plotting. One thing im gonna love doing the most, is gonna be the many deaths, just think walking outside to say water your lawn, a dragon can swoop down and take you away, won't kill you but it will make your mood all the way red. Anyways enough rambling, I hope you all like this project, as im putting my best work into it, as well as the block limit trick, which lets me have as many buildings as their are events. =)

This sounds like one helluva ambitious project. As long as you provide the video and pics, we'll have a good story.

Production has been at a stand still lately, I caught strep throat from who knows what, and have been bed ridden for the past 4 days, I can start work on it again tomorrow, and should have the demo out by at least the 30th.
