oh my, so omni is officially a perv. one playthrough and you will loose all innocence. he must be hiding a secret because he knows way too much about womany stuff and just has the chars come out and say it. this appears to be a huge part of the game and which sails it around great. oh, and yes, tifa does make an appearance though not in any physical form.

the game itself is based largely on an anime called moniko devil hunter. ive never seen the anime myself but in my experience i can see that what omnis produced is most likely close to the what the plot would be like (devil slaying, sex talk, and all that teen girl asian anime crap).

the game play itself is really good. ive never seen such good cut scenes. they are fun, fully animated, and show a great use of the software to get something that could pass at least within sniper range of an anime flash scene.

the environments are massive, i mean like huge. the buildings and map where just the way they should be, plenty of variety, and relevant to the story setting. i found that most of the map was entirely pointless and you could very easily bypass it all by just trying to get to your next location. i wanted to explore the areas a bit more but i accidentally picked the right paths nearly the whole time. not sure if its good or bad but im glad i didnt have to walk over every inch of the huge maps.

the battles where easy in the beginning but became impossible for the final battle. there is not much for equipment and healing and the only magic you can use was limited to the first part of the game. because of the way the system was designed i couldnt backtrack to the pop machine to pick up a few extra cokes and was forced to rely on the turkey dinner thing and a coke to see me through, which wasnt going to happen.

one thing i really liked with the exorcist of the demons. it was extremely creative. i also liked the use of the change party color command - that gets overlooked for the simple things like making your party appear as a shadow. sound effects where well used as well.

just watch out for the frequent tentacles that plague this game, there is so many sexual reference that i wonder if this anime is not somehow responsible for much of the interest in tentacles or just omnis personal fetish thrown in (secretly guards his tentacles henti).

overall id say i was satisfied with the game. id play a second chapter if one ever came out which it most likely wont. give it a try, you might as well check out one of the more perverted games in the rpg maker collection.
