And the blank =
christian
!

Don't look at the blank until you've heard the song.

Explain to me... why is that
christian
rock and not just rock? And how does that make it any different than... rock?

Also, the song is pretty cool. Good find. =]

Each genre of rock has a different style of how it's played and the lyrical content is different. One of the most technical and complex form of rock is the Heavy Metal side, especially Thrash Metal. Listen to some Thrash riffs (Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, Exodus, and Testament... they're some of the best) and you'll see.

Probably because of the message. It's not that way with rock only, but in any other genre that has
christian
music
Anyway, that's me guessing.
(Spoiler tags are fun)

Yes, of course, but I figured
"christian"
rock was not a musical style but a contextual one. And I see nothing particularly
"christian"
about the lyrics in that song except for one possible interpretation of them.
Unless
"christian"
rock is musically different than other kinds of rock, then I'll be damned and the world is a much weirder place than I thought.

I am pretty sure that song is on the local rock radio station. And they are the "hard rock" station.
