Japanese trailer leaked to the US. Shows off a good deal of the battle system. It looks a lot like XII with the ability to run around more and possition enemies with popups and such... almost like DMC. O_o

You even get to see a good number of the cast you'll be playing.

Btw, you'll need Video Lan or some other superior video player... so if you are using winamp or windows media, you are out of luck.

I actually thought the guy with the beanie (shut up Sumi... it's a BEANIE) was pretty cool. Looking forward to that.

This is like Fantasy May Cry, indeed. It's sorta like they mixed up guns and guys who look like Hellghast soliders into the fantastical world of FF.

Although, it's quite gorgeous. Battle system looks like its not quite as fail as FF12s.. 12's battle system was pretty much the entire reason I didn't finish the game.

I can honestly say I'm excited about this. No Ivalice-esque setting, a female character lead that's tough, and of course Vanille. And that crazy black dude that loves chocobos. It looks unique, again.
