Many years back my dad brought in Wendy's and gave me a cheeseburger. I took a few bites and never finished it. This strange event has stopped me from even considering to eat at Wendy's.

Am I missing out?

but really, if you havn't sullied yourself, don't go. in fact try to stay away from all fast food chains like that. stay local ^__^

I don't think you're missing out on the burgers, (I didn't find them remarkable either.) But once I stated their Spicy Chicken, I became a devout Wendy's follower.
I couldn't even stand Mc Chickens after that.
Spicy Chicken is my life. (Only Mayo, with Biggie Lipton's Iced Tea, please)
The other chicken sandwiches are fine too.

I usually don't go there, but I enjoy their burgers.

Personally it's my favorite fast-food restaurant. Usually I'll either get their Big Bacon Classic (no tomato, no onion, no pickles), or I'll get me 10 better-than-McDonald's chicken nuggets with a chocolate frosty to finish off. I also like their chicken sandwich, but I haven't gotten one in a long time.

Another thing. I worked there. I thought that would lessen my love for their chicken, but it never did.

The baconators are to pretty freaking great. And there was a few weeks they had these "flavor dipped" chicken sandwitches that were made of win. But for some reason, they don't serve them anymore.

I don't go there much, but I usually snab two Double Stacks plain with a large chili.

Wendy's is stupid for changing the Stack Attack to the Double Stack.

Their fries are excellent. Amongst the best of any fast food restaurant, maybe even the best. The biggie fries used to be a pretty good price too but I haven't been there in awhile.

Frostys and chile were pretty popular but I can't remember if I ever had them or not.

I really liked their single burger but I can't imagine having a double.

I actually don't like their fries much at all, but they're better than what McDonald's has, at least.

I generally don't care for fries. Give me a baked potato instead any day.

I must have fries. I don't care how bad they are (Not that Wendy's fries are bad) I NEED fries.

Always possible some Wendy'ses do their fries better than others. The Wendy's around here, the fries are a bit bland.

I don't know what Wendy's you frequent, Shadyfox, but they USED to have 1/4 lb Double Stacks for 99 cents; then they jacked up the price an extra 30 cents or something...then they reduced the size, so they were not even a quarter pound anymore, but kept the price the same, and THEN they changed them to the Stack Attacks. I'm well-versed in the ever-changing Wendy's value menu.

For a while (probably only in the Chicago market), they had a decent Italian beef sandwich (supposedly because they merged with Arby's), but I personally DETEST the Baconator, for the same reason I hate Burger King's "Slabs of beef and bacon," ie-Triple Stacker/Quad Stacker...personally, I need SOME vegetables to offset all the salty meat. Two slabs of beef with six strips of bacon is just WAY too much, again for the same reason I hate any type of Meat Lover's pizza...it's just too much.


As for a really good "make your own" Wendy's meal, get a small or medium fries, a regular sized chili, add some onions and the shredded cheddar they have, ask them for a side salad container (empty), put in the fries, and dump the rest on top....and voila! Chili cheese fries!
