Useful L4D info:

Dead Air glitches

At the part where you have to start the crane to lower the box with the ladder on it, if you jump on the air vent next to the crane and run across the fence, you can jump to the next building onto a metal box that's on the side of the building, completely skipping the crane part and not alerting the horde.

When you're on the third (I think) chapter of Dead Air, you arrive at a construction site and it tells you that you have to shoot a gas can to blow up a wooden barricade. If you shoot the gas tank, the horde is alerted and you have to make your way through before you get ripped apart and served at the next zombie social. To get past this without alerting the horde, all you have to do is jump over the barricade. You can stand on the yellow handrail that is facing the barricade, and if you run and jump off to the left onto a series of horizontal pipes on the wall, you can just jump over the barricade and skip the slaughter. (May take a few times to get.)

Quick Melee:

All you need is 2 weapons..pistol and whatever other weapon you choose..first thing is to melee normaly(LT) then switch weapon(Y) and then melee again(LT)

so its (LT)(Y)(LT) do this realy fast as many times as you want for example (LT)(Y)(LT)(Y)(LT)(Y)(LT) and you will melee 4 times in the time it takes to melee 2 times normaly..it realy helps when your backed into a corner from being puked on and youve got a hoard surrounding you...often using this you will come out of it unharmed

Melee/Reload combo:

You can kind of cheat reloading as well (this is really awesome if you like shotguns that take till lunchtime next tuesday to reload). Hit the reload button, and then just melee. Your gun will continue to reload even though the animation of you actually doing it isn't happening. This seems to work with most guns... it's most obvious with the shotgun because you reload each shell and can see the numbers increase... where as other guns, you just change the clip and just have to wait to see the number on your clip change to full.

Holy crap... we finally did it. We managed No Mercy on expert. Though, it kind of sucks for me, because I didn't make it on the chopper due to the last tank. I lit the f*cker on fire though, which gave the other three the ability to just run away till it died though. So I missed out on the cheevo. But I DID get Man vs Tank, so woot for that.

I'm still game though for more expert. It felt pretty awesome when our plan to get past the final horde actually worked.

Ix and I started doing Easy runs for achievements and I wanted to see if anyone would like to join. I know Ix wants to hit up the akimbo one, and I still need the Unbreakable one as well...

And I'm sure EVERYONE needs Upset Stomach, Safety First, ect... So yeah, cheevo runs ftw. Oh, and that one time we had a full party on Expert, and ShadowFox was the only one from the Mag to get the cheevo for that... so we'll probably work on getting that one at some time too.

I got a Wii and the Tales of Symphonia game for it, so I'm going to be off the XBox for a while.

If it's anything like last night, then it will be either frustrating as hell or epic... maybe both.

Summing last nights 4 hour and 30 minute session of utter failure up in one photo:

Though you have 2k kills more than myself, I've got 835 in cheevos... so MLEH (or however you'd spell sticking out your tongue at someone).

It'll be a while before I can build up enough patience to try Blood Harvest on expert again... Hopefully one of the above strats will prove successful.

Guys, I'm sorry about cutting out on you. My internet connection pretty much blew up for two hours for unknown reasons. It wasn't just my room... the whole building lost internet. So, yeah... it ruined the whole damn thing. I'm sorry.
