It's the device I used to record my various videos at Youtube. Plugs my game consoles through my computer so I can play/record them on my PC. The thing is, it was made for XP, I now have Vista ('cause I had to get a new computer), and Adaptec (the guys who made the GameBridge) doesn't seem to have a driver update for Vista users. There's a way to make it work on Vista, I've done it once before, but it came unplugged and has to be reinstalled, yet it's an absolute pain to get installed properly. I need an alternative. Any of you have any suggestions?

I actually miss my gamebridge a little. I gave both of mine away last year when I got THIS tuner card. The problem is I didn't look into it enough. There's a 2 second delay with this card. There was almost none with the gamebridge. And the gamebridge is WAY cheaper. I bought both of mine for $10 each and that card cost me $175.

Also I posted somewhere on installing the gamebridge on Vista and if I remember correctly, all you have to do is go to the setup on the disc and right click, run as admin and then go through the wizard. Might also have to change compatibility mode to xp sp2 from properties.

Yeah, did that, but it still gives me problems with installation. Just read the comments in that video. Multiple people have the same problem as myself, and there's no explanation to fixing it. In the end, I found it too frustrating to be worth it, and have already since broken the installation disk in half.

Oh yeah, delay is bad. If I'm gonna be recording videos, I'm going to want something that does not have any noticeable delay.

And there are other cards with near no delay, you just have to search for them. I just didn't look hard enough when I got mine.

I was the one that give you that vid... though I have had no previous knowledge or hands on with the hardware before. Sorry it wasn't of much use.

Oh, it was. I managed to do that entire JH LP on Vista. It just failed me after the Gamebridge came unplugged.
