here is the ps3 file.

"Anyway, the way the PS3 format works is that inside the zipped folder is both of your cards zipped up in their own files. In both is the directory PS3/Export/PSV and then the card. You'll have to exract them and copy them one at a time... I'll have a little FAQ on exactly how that works once I get all the other RM1 games that Ix wants converted up. "

edit: this file is out of date, awaiting for a current less broken game file to be made.

I'll go into a bit further detail about how to get it to run.

When you extract the main file, it'll give you two more files you need to extract. ONLY EXTRACT ONE. Because both of them have folders that are named the exact same thing. After you exract one of them... move the files to whatever it is you are going to use to copy it to your PS3.

Once you do that, you need to go to your PS3 and make 2 virtual memory cards for PS1. Take the the files you just moved and put them on one of the virtual memory cards... then go back to your computer, extract the other one you didn't earlier... and copy that to the other virtual memory card. Assign them to slot one and two on your PS3 and go...

And that's exactly how it's going to work for every PS3 converted game.

I can't open it because it's .rar or something like that. Why isn't in just a normal zip file?

Ah... sorry. I use winrar. It's a compression tool that pretty much handles EVERY compression format out there. So naturally, that's what I used to compress it.

I guess I was also under the impression that winzip could also extract rar'd files too. Guess I overestimated winzip.

Anybody who uses Winzip, stop using Winzip. Use Winrar. It features the same features as Winzip (including the reminding you to pay every time you use it, even though you don't have to), but, as Lantis says, is more versatile. And a lot of people use .rar. I think .rar can hold bigger files, too.

In addition, Winrar can MAKE zip files. Windows XP has an internal zip function, as well, which makes the zip format one of the most pervasive on the internet. That's what I use for all site saves.
